  1. Sadly this is true! The standard Supra can have a least some class, but this has absoultely no class what at all it totally chaved up. I think we will be seeing more and more picture like this in the future, very sad.
  2. The plugs arnt £25 each where did you get that quote? Its better to fit the long life platinum plugs as its a bit of a fiddly job on the NA.
  3. They do look lovely after a good clean, certainly turn a few heads! I love the way a Supra looks from behind:yes:
  4. If you have a thirsty TT and do more miles than me it does add up I guess. Plus its nice to have another car for when it rains etc or if you have to park in town.
  5. In that case, they sound like a good place to go.
  6. If I was going to get a 2nd car I'd want something Jap as anything you spend on repairs on an English or French car is just a waste. Like Todd said I find it difficult in fact impossible to justify a 2nd car personally. If I spend £25 a week on petrol in the Supra in a small car that would be £12. That's about £50 a month saved. I would then have to buy another car perhaps £1000 for a Micra, insurance for it at a guess £350, tax £115 (whatever it is for a small car), MOT £40 provided in passes, and general servicing £120 a year.
  7. If you said it was off a ford it would have been £1 if its off a Toyota then £5 even though it the same thing.
  8. Also 130mph odd on a wet country road OMG!
  9. The show was pretty good, shows that BHP isnt everything! I like the Aston but if I had the money I'd want a DB9 not that one. Out of those 3 I'd have the 911, I feel it has class, the aston has loads of class too but the BMW just doesnt have any.
  10. There's loads of modern things the car could have now! A really nice classy interior, some decent brakes as standard, decent traction control as standard, decent HID lights as standard with glass not stupid yellowing plastic, a decent sound system and satellite navigation. Then there's the heater matrix which you should be able to get to from underneath without taking half the car to pieces. Other than that the cars pretty good considering it age!
  11. Good idea swapping your bits out DB.
  12. If I was Jake the future would quite firmly not be Supra! I really hope you can sort this ok Jake.
  13. Looks good, very good colour match.
  14. I may be wrong but I dont think this forum has seller ratings like avforums but it should have!
  15. That was good. I wouldnt want to drive round that track in the rain! The rx7 looks as if it was on ice most of the time. I'm amazing the evo didnt do much better. What exactly do they mean sport tyres?
  16. Let us know how much they charge would be interesting to know.
  17. I would love to own the C5 ZO6 at some point, but probably never will as I'm getting too sensible already.
  18. It says here http://www.greenergy.com/products/99_octane.html that greenergy make it. Does it make any difference in the NA steve or others?
  19. I used to know someone with a yellow one, I only went in it once though. Felt pretty fast and sounded nice but looks very dated, especially the interior but it is an old car! Although I'm sure his wasnt a 7.4, it was long time ago but thought it was a 5.7.
  20. I was going to say that bull bar might not be too expensive but then I noticed mercedes on the plate. Its lucky it was there or the damage could have been worse.
  21. They seem stupidly expensive to me.
  22. Although yours is a bit darker. I agree with Jake its not the nicest colour I've seen.
  23. Heres a Supra in the closest colour to that.
