  1. I need more info. How big is this barge? What's the surface area of it? What's the captains name? Is there a passing cormarant sitting on the aerial mast? What colour is it?
  2. It is the volume of an object that determines the amount of water that the object displaces. Basically you're swapping water for concrete?
  3. I can't get my head around wether a block has the effect of displacing more water in the boat or on its own. I mean, it's not like all the blocks are in the water when they're on the boat. I keep thinking about surface areas and things.

    Supra service

NA or TT? Plugs on NA are PITA
  5. Is it testing your maths or knowledge of boats? I think the water level in the tank will go up.
  6. We use ServU which is a commercial grade one. Runs as a service, very reliable and easy to use.
  7. As long as you're not hitting fuel cut too often (which you shouldn't) you should be fine.
  8. I've never liked this styling so I'm going to be the odd one out and say yuk!
  9. Work out the fuel expenses and route before you go. It can get SERIOUSLY expensive. I did south of France, through to Italy, Mont Blanc and back up last year. Used about 300 quid of fuel IIRC, plus hotels etc the whole trip was well over £1000 for both of us for a week.
  10. I did a Greek night and had some friends round. Meze Starter - Pita and dips, Halkidiki olives, Grilled Houlmi cheese, Rice Stuffed Peppers, Dolmades (Stuffed Vine Leaves), Butter beans. Main - Pork Souvlaki kind of done as a Gyros with salad and Olive roasted home made chips. Desert - Didn't get to it as we were all well and truly stuffed! Washed down with plenty of wine.

    Hello

That's better. That insurance quote is shear lunacy. Can't imagine it'll change that much even if it's garaged though? There is quite a difference between on the road and driveway though apparently.
  12. There's a few mortgage lenders that will pay your penalty just to get you as a customer, (or so I'm told).
  13. Do you even have grass darn sarth? Thought it was all concrete.
  14. It's nice up here in Shropshire Cheaper to live too, you'll save it on your mortgage and then some.

    Great Joke!!!!

Smart made perfect sense to me and I'm not from Wales... Ok, only 20 miles to the border, but not Wales.
  16. Whoever designed the paint scheme and that horse wants shooting.
  17. Just explain what happened to the insurance bods and that you thought this was standard practice - go the stupidity route. I'm sure they'll soon sue their asses off.
  18. I did this on my first car - Austin Metro. It looked like a blind one handed man had done it.
  19. Mk1? Door from a scrappy would be the cheapest fix. Or a large mallet.
  20. I spoiled my no sick days record this Monday. Bloody back gave up - total agony! I still ended up on the laptop doing work though.
  21. Isn't it you that's got one of those fitted? Saw it on the Dragonball and thought it looked great.
  22. Just look at the photos here - Hmm - there's a problem with using keywords in links. That link is - http:// http://www.mkiv.com / techarticles / bov / index.html (Just close the gaps) Top one shows the OEM one in place. Other pics show different makes fitted. Basically block one side off, connect the other hoses up. Use the mounting bracket supplied to attach to existing bolt location. Very very quick and easy. http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/%62ov/index.html
  23. Already had an offer from Ric (CarbonAngel) but I'll let you know.
