  1. How do I access the club shop to buy tickets
  2. Thanks guys for the replies a lot of good ideas. Just need to pick a project I can get enough data to evaluate. Keen on the dyno tests as I have been working at Delphi as a engine test engineer for a while now and skills match up to undertake the project. Looking at the loading of using wheels spacers is also a good one although I think they may be too much work involved as aftermarket wheel will be used and carry different offsets and widths. Lifting the front of the car for speed bumps would be very practical. I recently drove a Gallardo with this capability but obviously it would need to be something cost effective. So I would need to look into it a bit more. Ducting of the radiator and OEM seems like a good topic and there is loads to test and investigate. I could possibly use thermocouples and pressure transducers to test various temperatures and pressures.
  3. That's a very good idea Neil however I am more on the mechanical side of things and not very good with electronics.
  4. Hi Guys I am in my final year at university studying Mechanical Engineering. I currently own a Facelift TT BPU. Just looking for ideas really on something I can do my final year project on. I would preferably like to do something that involves the supra. I am at Coventry university so we currently have loads of facilities at the campus including a full engine test facility. ATM I am a bit blank with project ideas so if anyone has ideas it will help me out loads. So if its a part to be manufactured, looking at efficiency of some sort, research or even looking at vehicle NVH It will help me out. I am good at using most software packages including CATIA. Sorry if i am posting in the wrong section just looking for advice.
  5. That's fine Mike I will pm you my number, if anyone else has got time to have a look just drop me a pm
  6. Is there anyone free this weekend to have a quick look at my car I feel like the first turbo isn't working as it should or maybe I'm just used to the power. My car is still twin turbo. So anyone has a twin turbo either you can take me for a spin or take my car for a spin to check if it's all as it should be.

  12. Had a little knock in my sisters car on the passenger side rear quarter. Now the car does not start. I tried to locate the fuel cut of switch but it seems the aygo does not have one. Even the AA guy couldn't find it. So I rang Toyota and they claim the car does not have one. The car was hit by the petrol cap. The car is turning over but just not starting. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/06/bcc9c8971eab02afd504120227d99f35.jpg http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/06/c88c7be3ffb81e7ef1f5e9dbee91faba.jpg I tried to give the battery extra charge but still no luck. I know it's a long shot and not the right forum but worth a try. Any help will be appreciated. The car is a 56 reg aygo and an auto.
