  1. Could you see that it was buckled or did you only notice once it was driven on ? The tyres are brand new and can't visually see any defects on the tyres.
  2. The local garage I took it too never sad anything about have mind a buckled wheel and plus there is no visible sign of buckles or cracks. I might take it Ibrar at speed wells to see if he can maybe help me out I'm using the gt50 wheel nuts, purchased from driftworks And these are the wheels I am talking about
  3. As they are brand new wheels, without the tyre should it really need any weights ?
  4. I am starting to think there is a problem with the front wheels now. Which the originals there is no shake at all. It is just very strange as I know I haven't hit a pot hole, curbed a wheel or even got a scratch on the new wheels so it's only lead me to think the new wheels are not running true. I will have another go at putting the original wheels on the car and and do 10mph hour step up's to like 120mph and try and feel and any play or shake just to eliminate everything else for sure.
  5. Yes the wheels are wider I had 17" original wheels on the front before can't remember the width of them but these new ones are 9j front. I will get the alignment checked. Need to raise my hsd coilovers first.
  6. Yes the spigot rings were provided from the wheel supplier and are a snug fit
  7. The wheel spins freely and looks perfect to me they are brand new so maybe there is a slight manufacture fault.
  8. Not too confident on the alignment, I've never had an issue with the alignment the steering is dead straight when moving. Haven't had it checked with the lasers. With the original wheels I have no problems and can easily hit 140mph with no play or wobbles. The wheels are heavier then the original would that have a strain impact on the suspension.
  9. No, I've had the arches rolled and it clears the tyres. Plus I have a slight stretch on the tyres nothing crazy though.
  10. Hi, I have fitted Japan racing jr12 to my BPU. The wheels are brand new with brand new tyres. I had them balanced and I have used the correct spigot rings. Once I hit 60mph my steering starts to shake. So I had them balanced again just before japfest. On the way to japfest I tested them again and the steering wheel started shaking again. I thought it could be balancing issue so I got up to 120mph thinking that the off balance will be corrected at that speed but it just got a lot worse. I put my original wheels on the front and the car drives fine. So now I am really confused. Any suggestions on what it could be?
  11. Currently have the double Din da110 which is a bit dated and doesn't allow connectivity to to the iPhone 6s. Looking for a newer model like avh or avic
  12. Some were just posted a hour ago on Facebook for £500 Front seats Rear seats Carpets
  13. Looking for a front passenger side j spec calliper. Ideally asap so I can have the car on the road for japfest next weekend.
  14. Looking for a passenger side front j spec caliper, I have the carrier I just need the actual caliper itself
  15. Sounds good but think that's the route I am going to go down
  16. Yes just the front kit that I want. and don't mind on colour. I hear these give slight more clearance on the wheels as well compared to the uk spec calipers Do you have this kit in stock
  17. Looking for a k sport front brake kit for my tt
  18. I had a look at the spacers and they are too big for my setup as the front wheels are already 10mm out more then rear. So if I put you ones on the front will stick out a lot. I have done something a bit tacky where I put 5mm spacers and grinded the caliper by about .5mm so the wheel springs freely now. I'm just a bit nervous about only having a bit of the hub lip for the wheel to rest on.
  19. Can anyone recommended a good 5mm hubcentric spacer as atm I am resting the wheel on about 2mm and don't feel safe, I would prefer a spacer with a lip to rest the wheel on.
  20. Got this sorted. [emoji1360]
  21. I did try putting a 5mm universal spacer just to check the clearance and the wheel did go but was touching the caliper slightly so the wheel was not free to spin.
  22. Hi Lee, what size spacers do you have and again would I need extended wheel studs
