  1. Sam mate, I had my old NA for 2 and half glorious years. I spent quite a bit on it but it always put a smile on my face. Great handling car and it looked sexy! I got frustrated at times that it didn't have as much power as I would have liked but I knew how to put it down on the tarmac and have a lot of fun. Enjoy it mate its still a supra and an iconic piece of Japanese automotive history!!
  2. RVP @ 1900hrs! I shall see you good sir's there.
  3. I shall be attending in Das Uber Wagon! I'll never say no to a Nandos!
  4. Hopefully now the weather seems to be changing more people will get the love back and there will be more regular meets!
  5. Knowing that I was supraless, Adi (letmeshowyou) offered to pick me up for the meet yesterday. Top man!!
  6. A truly awesome meet! Great turn out, spectacular cars and the best bunch of people!!
  7. Once again Bieber has helped out another member. He is indeed a top boy!!
  8. Mate i'm so gutted for you. Hope you get it all sorted, i'm sure you will with a bit of club spirit.
  9. Looks like a clean example, UK spec glass headlights too.
  10. Good save mate, when mine came apart at 70mph (ish..) parts of it smashed the alternator straight off its mountings and sheared some of the other pulleys apart.
  11. Definitely check your crank pulley, TRUST ME!!! Mine exploded and did serious damage.
  12. My heart is broken but it will be exciting to see how the old girl turns out. Its in great hands and I know it will be awesome when its done.
  13. I'm running those tyres too, loads of grip in all conditions. Nice.
  14. Genuine Toyota part purchased and fitted at Whifbitz. Whatever the problem was it looks like i'll be letting the car go.
  15. It separated, the larger back part broke into pieces.
  16. No it hadn't been off. It was fitted at Whifbitz so i'm sure they did a good job.
  17. Thanks for all of the kind offers of help.
  18. I don't think its worth putting another NA lump into it to be honest. A TT lump is out of my price bracket and you can't keep it stock which means the W58 wouldn't last that long.
  19. Yes the lower mounting tab has sheared off from the block.
  20. Its all giving me a headache. Not sure if its going to be worth throwing money at it that I don't really have.
  21. Yes this is a possibility. Getting it looked at so we'll see what the score is.
  22. I clearly don't get on with crank pulleys... My first experience was 2011 when the inner part came off, fair enough I got a new one fitted. A non genuine part, lasted about 6months before in came apart. Hmm yes I know lesson learned. Got it replaced with a genuine Toyota part. Happy days, right? Well, today whilst driving down the A2...BANG, SMASH, SMASH, SMASH... I was able to limp it to my work car park, with no power steering and the temperature rapidly rising. Bonnet goes up lets have a look. Back of the crank pulley completely came apart, sending broken pieces furiously flying around the engine bay. The alternator was broken clean off its mounts, tensioner destroyed including the arm. Only thing intact was the actual fan belt. For some reason I cannot post photos at the moment. What do you think could be causing so many crank pulley failures? - - - Updated - - - Apologies maybe I should have posted this in the technical section.
  23. DAW bringing the awesome as always!! Superb mate!
