  1. Welcome Jorgen, you need to speak to Jurgen on here. I'm sure he can find something to suit and handy for the ferry too!
  2. Taken care of already. The box is wrapped and the fire extinguisher is ready! Seriously though, will be keeping a very close eye on this. I was a little nervous about this but the wrap appears to be doing the job for now. The exhaust manufacturer seemed to think it would be fine as was so the extra peace of mind from the wrap is welcome. SteveL has been running a similar set up on his racer this year with no issues, and I'm sure his will be getting hotter than mine. 200 mile run home after visiting WIM and all looks fine so far. Not had any issues with grounding. The new system is actually higher than the lowest part of my Super Dragger that was on before. Thanks for the pointer though.
  3. Thanks JP. Looks like the cage sits well in front of where I'm planning to put the harness bar. Thanks again.
  4. Bit of help if possible please? Anyone with a 4 or 5 point Cusco cage? I need to know if there is clearance between the rear seatbelt top mounts. I am looking to get a harness bar fabricated locally and don't yet have the cage. My thoughts are the harness bar will have brackets between the rear upper seatbelt mount and folding back seat mount, with a round bar between each side. Alternatively, does anyone know if the Sparco harness bar will clear the Cusco cage? Thanks!
  5. Not yet! Brakes and cage next on the list, followed by valve stem seals and maybe some cheeky camshafts. Thanks for the piccies Paul. I will try to get some photos of the Super Pro exhaust rubbers as they have really improved matters. Still need to make the holes in the skirt a little bigger and trim them with aluminium though.
  6. I am waiting for confirmation from another member on the Decat. If I don't hear by tomorrow evening I will give you a price.
  7. Cool, let me know. If you need me to keep it one ice for a while will do as it's now in the shed.
  8. If I had been keeping this I would have got the mild steel part replaced if I am honest. If you want it pending inspection let me know. As I said, I'm up in the north east over the next few weeks so if you want to inspect it / take it away I'm sure we can meet up.
  9. Sorry, no pics or videos yet but I am now the proud owner of side exit exhausts. These really sound the business especially with the window open. No need to sort the aircon now! Had some issues making it all line up correctly until we put a Whifbitz Decat pipe on in place of my HKS item. Also fitted last week were some BC Coilovers and the fmic I got from PeterP. Darren had some fun (not his words!) getting it to fit, but did a sterling job. Had to lose the stock Airbox but he managed to fabricate a set up with a K&N cone filter. Not ideal but better than nothing. With the RLTC now set up all that was left was a trip to WIM to get the geometry sorted. Now, I'm no racing driver but the difference is phenomenal. The car was so far out before it was almost embarrassing. Will get pics and videos soon.
  10. Just got a photo for you http://tapatalk.com/mu/5ac636ae-7a69-3201.jpg
  11. Right ok. Will have a look and get back to you.
  12. How would I know this? Not overly loud. It was noise tested at Whifbitz at 102db. That was with the little hole in the U bend.
  13. You also need mph for MOT. Though somehow it often doesn't seem to matter!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Baffles in the first section? Had a quick look and they were all ok. Will try and get a picture for you. Will be up your way in the next few weeks too. So easy delivery.
  15. Hi Guys, Can we confirm date and location for July so I can try to plan and be around for it!!!!!!
  16. http://tapatalk.com/mu/5ac87794-bf5b-20bd.jpg £20 plus postage?
  17. I dont have the Racepack yet! You dont need to use the very expensive racepack sensors and the lights can be set up for road use. Paul Whiffin has one on his car, SteveL on his racer and a few others. Now I am at full BPU I need to get the extra guages so will be going down this route. I do not want pods and guages all over the place. Give Paul at Whifbitz a call and ask him how much all the bits will cost. The screen is £500 iirc and you can add data logging etc if you want. I guess a few hundred quid on top for sensors and you should be laughing!
  18. http://www.mygen.com/users/dbruce/myz31/hks_evc_iv_boost_controller_install.htm I found this one in about 20 seconds.......................... Taken from Apexi Website re the other device. May not be identical as this is for a newer version but probably about right. The Rev/Speed meter GP is a complete multi function measuring device designed to measure and monitor data such as vehicle speed, engine RPM and elapsed times. Standard features include: Engine RPM, Vehicle Speed, Travel Distance and battery voltage ( all which can be displayed in real-time graph mode, or analogue mode; 1-4 channels at a time). Peak Hold, Replay (60secs) Speed limiter cut, 0-100m/200m/400m time with trap Speed. 0-100km/200km/H/300km/h times. Mid Range Acceleration ( user can preset any range of speed to measure), Stop watch functions, Best Time Memory, RPM Warning, Speed Warning, RPM & Speed Outputs (for external devises requiring an RPM or Speed signal). Tire size correction ( for timing accuracy), and Vehicle weight input.
  19. Had my fmic fitted this week and had to remove the airbox. One of the lugs is broken but with both clips on seals perfectly. Also included is a K&N panel filter that has only done about 1000 miles. Not sure what these go for so how about £75 plus postage? edit: from feedback received £20 for filter, £25 for air box or both for £40 plus postage on each (The filter is £65.66 new from Whifbitz) I'm sure you will let me know if I am wide of the mark at this price! http://tapatalk.com/mu/5ac87794-b623-42be.jpg http://tapatalk.com/mu/5ac87794-b634-67ed.jpg http://tapatalk.com/mu/5ac87794-b648-21d6.jpg
