  1. no steve no other lights, i have checked all the hoses and just been for a good run and it didnt do it once, hopefully the problem has sorted its self out ?
  2. i know this has been done to death but i cant find what i am looking for in the search since i fitted my HKS BOV a couple of days ago i have had the master warining light in the center of the dash come on a couple of times. i dont think i have knocked anything off and everything looks to be fitted correctly. the car feels no diffarent. its not fuel cut as i know what this feels like and my brake fluid is nice a full. what should i check as i have no manual to see what it could be ?
  3. thanks for the advice and thanks for the PM supra-al i found out what is was today, before i had chance to have a good look at it my lecy windows got stuck down outside work this morning so i had to have a look, nothing had broken the plug had come off the switch, it must have come off at an angle so the lock button came off before the window switch well at least it was a nice easy cheap fix
  4. i thought it might be a rod, gonna have to strip it all down and have a look, if a rod had come off the button solonoid i dont think the alarm locking would work though ? as for the sexual favours they had allready been recieved
  5. has anybody ever had a problem with there door lock/un-lock button on the drivers door ? it will not lock or un-lock the doors manually but my clifford still locks and unlocks them with the engine on/off. all the central locking with the key fob still works to. dont know if this might have caused it but i was letting a bird out my car and she kept on pulling the handle as i was trying to un-lock it using the button, after this it wouldnt work. any ideas on things to check will be a help
  6. i definately noticed a diffarence on the way home tonight ! i thought it might be because the AC was on but when i turned it off it still felt slugish ! i think my standard IC has seen better days though time for FMIC

  8. ahh black the same as mine, worst colour to polish ! dont know what all that 9 micron business is ? never been told to do that by any 3M rep and it isnt written on any bottles i have ? use the finesse first rub HARD (but not hard enough to dent the pannel) in circular motions, then use the handglaze to wax up after, if you wet the cloth slightly when rubbing it in it is easier to buff of afterwards
  9. have you got handglaze (yellow top) or finesse-it (white top) ? in your title it says finesse-it but you then call it hand glaze. what colour is your car ? if its a dark colour i might take it somewhere to have it done .

  11. i have tried everywhere for 5w50 i cant get it anywhere by me and i work in the motor trade !
  12. you can use any cotton cloth as long as its clean and has no sewen seams or embroidery on it, an old soft Tshirt is as good as anything but you might want somthing a bit softer to buff it back up, 3M actually sell there own cloths, they are blue and have 3M written on them, imho these are excellent but i think they are very expensive. not shure how much though as i dont have to pay for mine

  14. i think it was put on the UK car because of the auto barn, the scoop lets cold air flow over the turbos when travelling at high speeds for long distances
  15. if you are worried about the MOT just take the spare out if there aint one there they cant fail it, they also cant fail you for not having one !
  16. took your advice and got a valve today, on mkiv.com it says you can do this mod to the first turbo to, anybody done this ? and what levels of boost is safe to run through the first turbo ?
  17. thanks all, i fitted NGK 607 (BKR7EVX) today and the problem has gone, i will now have to get a proper bleed valve as it boost to 1.5 bar ! as much fun as this is i dont think my turbos would like it long-term
  18. ill get the plugs and the valve then, when i get the decat will i need to take the bleeder out ?
  19. i am running the 1/4" T without any sort of valve, i thought it was just optional. have i got it all wrong as usual ! even though it seems to hold 1.2 bar ? it only went to 1.5 once and it wont seem to do it again i had thought of the spark plugs and yes it does feel like the rev limiter, i will get the recomended plugs tommorow as i dont know how long mine have been on the car anyway (only had it since december) thanks for all the help, anymore is welcome
  20. good question as it is for professional use only but if you go into an auto paint supply shop near you (around here they are called brown brothers/granlin auto supplies/jawel paints) they should supply it, have a look in yellow pages for your local one or ask a local body shop for directions
  21. anyone any ideas at all ? this has bugged me again today and it looks like i might have to put the boost back to stock
  22. we only use 3M polishing products in the bodyshop i work at, 3M imperial handglaze (yellow top) is good stuff indeed but only puts wax coat on the paint, it will hide imperfections but only fills them in, to refinish oxidized and scratched paint you should use 3M finesse-it (white top) it has cutting agents handglaze has not got, this actually takes out light imperfections rarther than disguising them,
  23. i fitted a 1/4" bleeder T to my 93tt jspec auto, i hit boost cut a couple of times last week but today i fitted the FCD, i dont get boost cut now but when the second trurbo cuts in it seems to judder, the boost gauge is flickering around 1.2 bar but at one point it shot up to 1.5 ! do i need to reset the ecu, can you feel boost spikes ? the judder is like the boost is going up and down in cycles of 1-2 second intervals, but the boost gauge looks quite stable, it feels like when you are running out of petrol but there is a full tank of optimax. i also noticed there is a small amount of oil comming out of the bleeder T, is this normal ?
  24. do you think there would be an age limit as i think i might not get insured next year due to my age, i think this year was just a fluke, i thought i might have to sell it at renewal time but now i would do anything just to keep it !
  25. dont turn it down just because it is cheap, i only pid £7500 for my TT and it is a minter with 55,000 on the clock, make shure the car is right not the price !
