so i finally got round to fitting a new tyre yesterday. when i say new, it was a part worn, bridgestone, lots of tread on.
fitted it on the back, passanger side.
after 20 mins i noticed that the steering wheel wasnt straight any longer, but it was turned right slightly right, when the car was going straight.
the back end felt a bit "hoppy" and also twitchy, felt exact the same when the back right wheel bearing had gone.
i had the rear passanger side wheel bearing replaced about a year ago, maybe the other side has gone now?
can a iffy tyre cause such a feeling? or isit co-incidence one of my wheel bearings have gone just after ive got a new tyre?
