  1. Currently in 040 white. Have been previously repaired, but otherwise in great condition Will add pics soon Located Bedfordshire £100
  2. I have a oem set, but they're not for sale They took me long enough to find!
  3. What are they worth? I've got a prefacelift set I've removed from the car, tempted to keep them, just in case I want to re-fit them, but figured I'd find out what they're worth first.
  4. I've been using shake proof & spring washers, didn't want to use threadlock though as I do take it out from time to time. Yeah I'm considering getting the centre resonator replaced with a box, or get one of this electric cutout valves fitted with a silencer etc.
  5. So I've got a kakimoto cat back on my n/a which is a lot of fun, but truthfully is way too loud for where I live, so I have to run an exhaust bung until I'm round the corner then I usuallly take it out, or I leave it in for long journeys. Well it seems my exhaust is protesting to the idea as in the last two months the bolts have come loose and it's fired 3 of them out never to be seen again! The last was a apexi 'active' bung. Does anyone have one of these apexi one lying about? Because i found it to be pretty good, but if anyone's go any tips of keeping them in, I'm open to ideas! I've used nilock nuts both times but the plastic just melts away which I'm assuming is why they've come loose!
  6. Does it latch down in the conventional way? Or do you have to use tie straps?
  7. Mine did the same a few years back, was the alternator.
  8. Looking forward to this! When will all 3 be ready?
  9. I've found them pretty good so far, I'm not getting full beams at me when I'm driving
  10. Nope, just plug & play They do get pretty warm, but no hotter than anything else under the bonnet I guess! And no hotter than normal bulbs Possibly, here's some pics of clearance.
  11. They took about a week to arrive, tbh, I'm really impressed with them, much cleaner light than my previous hids. Wet weather is very similar to hids though, full beam is amazing however. There's not a huge amount of room for them, but they sit ok, I had to take the battery out to get enough clearance to fully twist them in, which btw seems easier than with normal 9005's so it's possible they're closer to the factory jap spec bulbs I guess. I'll try and get some pics later.
  12. Yep, straight plug & play. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/262569528275
  13. Yep, I'm running cob 6000k sidelights too!
  14. So I've been away from here for a while as the car had been off the road for 18months when we moved earlier last year, however I've now got it back on the road and am now tinkering with it again! Just got 2 sets of these new led headlights, fitted them a few weeks back, so far well impressed for £30! Beam pattern seems good, got them in full beam too now. Well impressed!
  15. I'll 100% take a brushed set of 3 pre-facelift when they're ready
  16. Ok, so the same question regarding Na-tt? - - - Updated - - - I'm just trying to figure out my options
  17. Brilliant. Thanks for all the help guys!
  18. I know there are hundreds of threads covering this, but I'm considering converting my Na 5 speed to Na-t, however I'm currently doing two jobs so I won't get the time to do it myself, (even though I generally do everything myself!) so I was wondering if any well known companies offer the service as a drive in- drive out? And what the costs of that are if they supply all parts and mapping etc.. I'm in full saving mode at the moment, soot won't be for a while, but it's either that or buying another project car!
  19. Oh ok, brilliant! I assume it'll be a drain the fluid job then?
  20. Hi guys, I've been suffering with a issue with my power steering lately, at times when it's under load it's making a hell of a groaning noise, it's topped up and there are no leaks in the system whatsoever. I've seen someone on here talking about Cleaning the filter mesh? I've done a search but came up with nothing, can anyone help? And will this solve my issue? As the steering so isn't heavy when it happens, it's just very noisy!
  21. Got it sorted, wasn't actually as bad as I thought it was gonna be tbh.
  22. Excellent. Thanks for the info!
