And whilst i've got some IT attention...... :d I've just formated my PC & re-installing everything but i now dont get USB 2, just USB 1. It used to be though. Loaded the mother board drivers (ASROCK). The USB's work straight away without any drivers BTW, but just 1.0. They say to load SP1 to give USB 2, which seems to be the case after searching on the web. BUT i've loaded SP2 straight away and not SP1a which hasnt given me USB 2. When i try to load SP1a i get this message (see attached) The same applies if i un-install SP2 and then laod SP1a. Have i got re-format again I dont seem to be able to find just a USB 2 patch Thanks again

My 2p then: Just to say i've installed AVG which i find to have a better interface than AVAST which seems a bit cartoony for me (like a WinAmp Skin) + it doenst seem to give as much information although i cant comment which does the best job! AVAST also has a problem with Zone Lab Firewall. Zone Lab Firewall seems ok which i'm running along with the MS XP and havent come across any conflicts yet. No grubbles as they;re both free - cheers

I’ll probably go for this or the AVAST. Both seem to be corporate ones with free home uses which i'm assuming is a good thing Anyone know if you can attach AVG Firewall to the Anti virus for free or this this bit a bought extra? Can anyone easily explain how I get a Firewall through a router? And why this is better? (Links will do) And whats the MS XP Firewall like? i'm assuming crap? Many thanks people PS. Are there any decent free ones out there? My PC Cillin one is coming to its years end and TBH seemed to slow the thing up when shutting down. Dont use the PC much so seeing if there were any free good ones about?? Many thanks Stephen

Looking at nipping over to France, probably the Brittany area for a week or 2 in a cottage with private pool around June. Driving over. Anyone been there done that and can give some recommendations. Me & wife + a couple of friends with a 3 year old. Prefer somewhere near to a decent town/coast. Got a couple of brochures: Cottages 4 U (same as French life) Bow Hills (not much in there) Have considered going further down into the next region (Vandees ???) but thinking about the kid for travelling.
