  1. Tried turning them but nothing. This is what am getting in the drive way. Reving at normal below 1000 even though says nearly 5000
  2. In need of help asap!!! I have just removed my cluster from my dash changed the bulbs to red led and put it all back together. Now when a start the car my needles are all out by miles and nothing lights up the cluster!! Changed the ignition barrel one too and that was fine but that's not working either!! Please tell me there is an easy fix as it's my daily driver!!
  3. Is it easy to swap over and how many do I need? Thanks for the info dude, wanting to change all mine to red like this pic a found
  4. Am i right in saying that the letters on the right side of the shifter should light up when headlights are on or all the time? Mine are off all the time apart from the manual button light which is working? If i have an issue can a change them to red led when fixed?
  5. I changed my rad over and I have had no issues since. Thank god!! There was a small chip just inside the rad at the lip where the rad cap seals too inside, I think it was that. System wasn't pressurised because of this causing the coolant to get real warm causing steam. Worth a try and my second hand rad from the forum cost 38 delivered. Worth ruling out things cheap before HG changes ect
  6. Carbon mate!! Am not sure about it though, different a suppose
  7. Am using tapatalk mate can't see a link there what's the description and ill search
  8. What interior led did u use mate?
  9. Well its been a very very busy day today however a wouldn't of done half of it if it wasn't for westy!! Cheers again dude!! Changed the chrome intake back to stock, changed my broken door close mechanism which turned out to be a cu#t of a job, painted all calipers from green to red, gave the cam covers a lick of paint along with the screws which would look good but one side was broke and it needed alot of prep so done a quick fix for now. Door card arms were wrecked, the leather lifted at both sides which was weird so again thanks to westy changed them for his old mint condition ones!! All in all car is coming along. Few more bits needing touched up but am getting there
  10. Though would update this thread to finish it off. After shiting myself for ages thinking a may have blew the HG a changed the rad which was badly damaged and since then it has ran perfect! Changed the thermostat which a didn't need however least it's now done haha. So happy happy!
  11. I'll check the reving thing later or tomorrow and ill give the car a good run as well see how a get on. Am hoping that the HG is fine lol
  12. Why will a need to do that? Don't think I'll be going that far soon, plus if it goes pop am stranded haha
  13. Well before a take it to a garage that costs a fortune to see what's up with the car I took it to a garage that my mate works in and they changed the rad over for a second hand one. Great condition as mine was shot. New cap fitted also that a got from toyota. When a picked it up they said it's still bubbling in the expansion tank so they are leaning towards the cylinder head even though the sniff test cam back nothing. But av been driving it since then and done about 100 miles. Am not loosing coolant and not over heating. Don't have the bubbling in the expansion tank either. Am hoping that this problem had been resolved but still thinking my luck it's not. When car is up to temp and driving hardish for 10-15 miles. When park car up the top rad hose is hard and warm. Warm a would expect but should it be solid? Also should the expansion tank have coolant in it all the time?
  14. I agree mate. Good wee night and was nice meeting ya, and Liam. Hopefully get another meet soon
  15. Am having the same issue. Only seems to happen more when it's really warm day. Mine is an na though but exact same symptoms. A changed rad cap and thermostat and still does it. Got a second hand radiator to change over. Also had a sniff test done and there was no exhaust gases in the collant so wasn't head gasket. Very rare for hg to go. Hope we can both get this sorted haha
  16. Well drove home from work at 2 am and no bubbling at all. Am convinced it's not combustion gases. All the tell tell signs for it aren't there and sniff test showed that too. Am going to try a new rad see what happens as am getting one at a good price. Searched for bubbling on here and someone changed the rad and it worked so here's hoping it's that. Or again seen as it didn't bubble at 2 am it may now be ok or nothing haha
  17. Na not had any work from what av been told and the last owner seems a genuine guy and supra enthusiast on here. Am assuming bubbling coolant in expansion tank is defo not a common thing or normal thing?
  18. Well got a new thermostat but am still getting bubbling in the expansion tank when a run the car hard. Got new rad cap too. What else could be causing this?
  19. Got my mate to make me polished aluminum dash knobs. They look great and go really well with the chrome rings. Here is a before and after
  20. Ok will do and is it just a gasket or something?
  21. Av been watching that thread only thing is am not over heating, on the gauge it's perfect, half way after warm up and doesn't move
  22. Oops haha Cheers for fixing it. Ah is it even if only couple go will still be good
