Just got back from holiday, turned on the supra to check eveything is still working. Noticed smoke from the bonnet so lifted it to find flames all over the manifold and wrapping... all over the turbo and pipes.... i dont know what to do... can anyone come and fix it or point me in the right direction. obviously its a non mover so i will pay your costs. i know for definate it needs a new oil return pipe and the heat wrapping needs to come off as i think thats where its started. the wastegate still isnt fixed. could this be an addition to the cause? any help is welcome.... before i cry

need to make a wish list for her.... as she needs a new dress and make up (dress = body kit, make up = paint) whos a good trader on cosmetics? i want the lot. body kit, seats, interior, ice, finishing with a white spray job. going to take her to a bigger named garage for the service and wastegate fix... she only gets the best

Only had one evening and a morning in my supra, I took it through a tunnel at night, loved that, had the roof off in the morning and loved that! now my external wastegate has stuck open so she sounds like a boat so dont want to drive it until i can get it booked in at a garage to be fixed. im already finding myself missing it... have i got it bad? lol or is it like this for everyone so i can tell my mrs not to worry... lol

my brother in law who is a mechanic just turned up and the first thing he said was blowing exhaust he then looked at exhaust manifold, there was a valve with a pipe coming off it with nothing on the end....?

i could just be thinking loss of power as the noise is different, if you know what i mean, still crazy fast

could have loss of power but not sure. still goes when i press the go faster button. its mainly a sound thing. no leaks or anything like that. all pipes seem to be intact

only happens when i accelerate, not when idling or decellerating

happened when i put my foot down after the external wastegate was fully open. sounds like a lumpier version of the wastegate. like a boat. its warm now so cant touch it yet

hi. Very loud gurguling sound coming from under the bonnet when i accellerate. Think it could exturnal wastegate stuck open. Dont know enough to have a proper look at it. Can someone come round and have a look. Il pay you. 07501026238 as outside looking....
