  1. Pete When I was last at Leon's a couple of weeks ago I asked him about RLTC and he can definitely fit. He was talking about organizing a group buy as he had another person interested. I really want to get this on my car ASAP so I'll give him a ring later and try and get some idea about cost.
  2. Yeah I think it should read: bound to spending more money on it soon!!
  3. I got a set of locking nuts from Demon Tweeks when I got my wheels. I should think they'd be able to help you.
  4. Thanks for the advice everyone. Got my new year's resolution sorted already.......buy more stuff for my car:D
  5. The very reason for me starting this thread!! Don't want to be doing damage by tinkering with stuff I know very little about. I'll definitely be investing in some goodies to monitor things soon (not even a boost gauge at the moment)
  6. Leon fitted these for me. I was in a bit of a hurry when I picked the car up so I didn't get a chance to chat to him. Thinking about it I guess he probably does have one. What exactly does this device do?
  7. Thanks Adam Should have mentioned mine is a UK spec so presumably injectors should be up to the job. Would love to say I know what you mean by a wideband o2 setup but.......... Are there many garages/tuning shops with this sort of equipment?
  8. I've done quite a few searches but can't find a definitive answer as to what is a safe boost level I can push the car to with my current setup. With hybrids, fmic, full decat and uprated fuel pump what would others expect to be running? The Blitz dsbc settings restrict me to around 1.2 bar at the moment which I'm by no means unhappy with particularly as I still have the stock traction control. Would I need further fueling mods to exceed my current settings? Am I just getting too obsessed with boost levels:) So many questions..............
  9. Gaz...........maybe it's a special edition or somethingD Seriously I'm pleased with how long the Toyo's have lasted. To be honest it's only wear on the outside edges of the front's that making me think of replacing them and I guess that's down to tracking/alignment?
  10. I've had the Toyo Proxies on my car for about 11k miles, still a fair bit of tread on the rears although front's will need replacing very soon. Going by some of the figures quoted on here they've lasted quite well.
  11. Thanks Peter This will keep me occupied for a few hours:)
  12. Thanks Ian I'm going to do as you've suggested. I've a strong suspicion Toyota couldn't be arsed to check properly and just fobbed me off with "you need two new seats mate and they're £600plus each"
  13. I thought it was a bit odd that neither seat would heat up. I think I did investigate fuses once before and concluded that wasn't the problem. Will have another look though.
  14. I sure I'll get some flak for this but it's bloody cold and my front seats don't heat up at all. Never worked since I've had the car, push in the button and little light is on but zero heat. I did ask the Toyota dealer to look at this and they reckoned the heating element had gone in both seats and if I wanted that warm have I wet myself feeling I'd need two new seats! Subsequent dealings with them have led me to believe they don't know the Supra all that well and I wondered if anyone had any ideas. Done a search of the BBS to no avail.
  15. I've been following this thread with particular interest as my car has been at Leon's this week having hybrids fitted. As per my earlier post the car has always been a bit lacking in response lower down the rev range and after what Chris said I was a bit worried the new turbo's would make things worse. However picked up the car yesterday and unless I'm mistaken it actually seems a fair bit better in that respect. Mind you I was driving around in a 1.4 Corolla for a week!!

    turbo timers

I haven't got one of these and I'm having hybrids fitted this week. Does this make it more of a necessity? I'm okay with sitting and waiting for things to cool down a bit although I don't apply any science to it, just wait a bit longer if I've been on a long run.
  17. My UK TT is exactly the same JB. Nothing spectacular happens until I start to get over 4000rpm but then a real surge. I'd be interested in trying to improve the response lower down but wouldn't have a clue how it could be achieved.
  18. My car is lowered on Eibach springs and I have a Blitz NUR SPEC exhaust. It looks great but beware...........I have to avoid speed humps like the plague! No problem on local roads that I know well but if I 'm going somewhere that I'm not so familiar with it can be a bit of a pain.

    Blitz DSBC

Thanks Martin. Spotted it straight away after looking at the pics.

    Blitz DSBC

Help please! Anyone know where the solenoid for the Blitz DSBC will be located on my car? I've had a quick look under the lid but can't see it anywhere.
  21. When I was looking for a soop I saw quite a few j spec cars with what I presumed were leather rear seats and cloth front. I thought it looked ok but I do prefer the leather all round which I think is standard on a UK model. Having said that it's not the best quality stuff you'll ever see. Anybody had their seats re-covered with different leather?

    Blitz BOV

Thanks Matt The air flow meter caused a problem when I had the SUS fitted. Fortunately the guys who done the work for me managed to figure out a workaround. I'll phone and check with Leon tomorrow as to whats suitable for my car.

    Blitz BOV

I planning to have a BOV fitted sometime soon and have just been looking on Fensport's site. They list a Blitz one at £325 but it says "NOT UK AUTO" which rules it out for my car. I'm clueless technically and wondered whether anyone knew why this was. Also any suggestions for what I could go for would be much appreciated.
  24. Gaz I'll see if I can sort a pic out.
