  1. I love the stock look too, although there are some really nice looking supras with body kits, but I love mine the way it is, even the engine is stock on mine. [GRIN][/GRIN]
  2. Mine is stock, apart from a aftermarket head unit and uk spec wheels and brakes, but I don’t think they need to be declared, because apart from the head unit they are Toyota parts.
  3. I phoned sky insurance when i first got the supra but they wouldn’t insure it for me because I’m 22, but maybe they will insure me now because I’ve owned it for a year.
  4. I like this very much, I’m not a big fan of white cars, but this looks good!! What kind of filler cap is that? I’ve never seen one like that before, is it lockable?
  5. Hi, I am currently insuring my supra with Adrian Flux, but as it’s up for renewal next month I thought I should ask other Supra owners who they’re insured with to see if anywhere can beat my current insurance. Any ideas Thanks
  6. I would be interested in going, could we get a few more of us and have our own stand? http://www.modifiedlive.co.uk/area.php?a=6 http://www.modifiedlive.co.uk/page.php?a=5&s=48&p=48
  7. On the second pic if you look through the steering wheel where the arrow is you can just about see the cruise control stork
  8. Here is a pic of my engine and I’ve circled the second throttle cable which stephendjb pointed out, I’ve also circled the cruise control box. On the second pic ive pointed out where my cruise control stork is which supra-ireland pointed out. I hope this helps Dan
  9. Someone else had the same thing happen to them on here about a year ago, but I can remember who it was. I wonder if it’s the same oven?
  10. Heres a link to their website http://www.modifiedlive.co.uk/page.php?a=5&s=48&p=48
  11. Are we having a club stand at modified live at Snetterton this year on 10th oct?
  12. I watched it on Sky sports and the first goal/pen wasn’t a pen because Russell couldn’t move his arm out of the way quick enough because it was fired at him from about 2 feet away, the ref wasn’t going to give it but the linesman said it was a handball, but he was miles away and couldn’t of seen it, the second was a poor back pass for Docherty which the striker got hold of ran to the box and dived before the keeper got to him but made sure his foot brushed him to make it look like the keeper pulled him down, so the keeper got sent off, then they scored the second pen and the third goal the striker had a cross from a corner and controlled it on his arm and then scored, the commentator even said if he would of had a watch on it would of hit it, it was that far down his arm and that was even more obvious that Russell’s apparent handball!! I think the officials had it in for us because we are so clear at the top and we only needed to win one more game to win the league and Tranmere are having a relegation battle
  13. come on lotus i know they have no chance of winning but is still want them to do well!
  14. wow thats really nice. where did you get all the blue and chrome pipes and if you dont mine me asking how much do they cost?
  15. Why?????????????????????? I’m surprised it can even move under its own steam with a 1.0, 3 cylinder engine!!!
  16. i just found this link this is what i have http://www.rcuniverse.com/magazine/article_display.cfm?article_id=309
  17. I’ve got 3 nitro cars. One is a race car (from the nitro racer mag) but it’s in bits because both diffs broke! I’ve also got 2 monster trucks but there in bits because I did a jump with one of them and broke both drive shafts and both need their engines setting up because I can’t get them running right!!
  18. Just to let you know, when I was looking to buy a supra I found one I liked from Platinum Autos and I got advised to look elsewhere. Here’s a link to my thread http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=195912&highlight=platinum+autos And here’s a link to the thread I got advised to look at, http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=162677&highlight=platinumautos+wycombe
  19. I don’t think you will need a full rewire unless the cables are made of rubber or badly deteriorated, what I think you will need is the place fully tested, then you will get a list of remedial’s needed to be change to bring it up to stranded e.g. bonding, RCD protection on sockets etc.
  20. I’m hoping to get to the Kings Lynn event, I went to see drifting for the first time last time it was a kings Lynn and I really enjoyed my self so looking forward to the next one.
  21. Buying my first house and my first supra lol!
  22. you should fit it your self, I fitted ours my self, they are a pain in the ass to set up if you don’t have a signal finder (which I didn’t) because not only have you got to get the left and right just right you also have to get up and down right as well! But surly as you have fitted it then they can’t charge you an insulation fee!
  23. I had the same thing happen to me, when the company I’m working for had the Kings Lynn council contract, we got a report that the electric fire alarm kept going off in this house, so I when out there and found out they had been smashed off the ceiling!!! So I replaced them and the tenant had a go at me saying, if they go off again she would make a complaint and make sure I lose my job!!! But she was the one which set them off by smashing them off the ceiling!!! Lol luckily we don’t have this contract any more because on other occasions we were getting called out at 11o’Clock at night to change a light bulb and stupid things like that!
