Hi folks when fitting my fcd I spotted that my car has an A/T ecu?,the was was originally an na with w58 and was converted to TT the car seems to be running fine sometimes idles a bit lumpy and cuts out by searched the forum and diagnosed a faulty/dirty iacv which will be coming out the weekend,just said I'd ask would running the auto ecu be damaging to my engine down the line I'd rather change it than it doing damage to the health of the car thanks in advance

Mine was originally na but had a 2jzgte engine fitted and now on its way to bpu the exhaust I have should hopefully pass the nct ive in in for vrt on the first of may breaking my heart to pay it but needs must,supra meet round bundoran sounds fun lads or anywhere in the west I don't mind making the trip

  9. hows things thought this may have been covered before but I cant find a thread on the site and may be a bit of a silly question but here goes is the restrictor ring needed if im going to be using a greddy profecII boost controller?? or is the boost controller alone ok with both decats? thanks in advance graham

  11. Can this be taken out and cleaned I done one before on an old dc2 integra I had but is it the same principal on the 2jz gte?
  12. hi just noticed the last few times ive had my supra out it has a tendency of idling really low and cutting out once I start it again it may never happen for the rest of the day and idles perfectly, normally if I let it idle for 15-20mins which I normally do to let it warm up before driving its fine but some days I may be running late and have to go in a hurry not driving erratically and then it happens.. anyone shed some light on this?? is it an air flow issue?

  17. ever since ive got the car when under hard acceleration the car seems to die for a few seconds when hitting about 6000rpm engine check and hazard light comes on again both knock off after the few seconds also seems to been pointing towards fuel cut but just want to verify as im new enough to these cars all info would be great only minor mods done fmic apexi filter cat back exhaust hks ssqv
  18. Thanks for the help one last query when you say 1jz belhousing and flywheel is it from 1jz in the mk3 supra or the one that comes in the jzx100 chasers?? I may aswel gather these bits first think it would make the most sense then modify a bit would love to see 450-500hp safely

Hows things folks recently bought a tt supra with a w58 box I know these are the weakest manual box available but until funds allow for an upgrade it will have to do, car only has a fmic,hks ssqv,apexi filter and cat back exhaust, I would like some info where to go from here as regards uping the power without killing my gearbox? and how do I fair out mapping wise can I just use a emanage or what is recommended? all info would be great thanks in advance
