  2. I was heading into Halifax when this car overtook me. I was behind it for a while, then he headed off toward Copley/Sowerby Bridge. Is it anyone on here? Had an aftermrket exhaust too if that helps.
  3. Hiya mate, don't want to hijack your thread, but who did you get the tt conversion quote from and what was it?
  4. Is this only suitable for a tt? Or could i fit it to my na
  5. Was half expecting that reply Let me rephrase that... Where abouts in West Yorkshire are you?
  6. Was behind this car at the lights just as you get in to Dewsbury town centre. It was about 6:30-7ish pm. My passenger waved at him. Then he shot off as the lights turned green! I followed up to the next lights, the i turned into town, while this car was still speeding away! Is it anyone on here?
  7. Welcome to the club mate. Where abouts in Yorkshire are you?
  8. ?? You can get an Altezza for that price! Or if you really wanted an is200, there's still loads on for less than what you paid for it!
  9. Now that's the type of answer I was after :-D I was thinking of going na-t (with the kit dazzi was selling), was buying the emb for that. but once again I was beaten to it :-( I'm going to go na-tt now instead. I was wondering if the emb could be used in that or bpu. Thanks for your help Homer (i was actually going to pm you when I firsta had this query, but opted for askin the entire forum! guess I should just aim my querys at you next time ;-))
  10. So would I still need a fcd? Or could this be used for that function?
  11. Hello all, I have seen a few for sale on here, but i am still not sure what they are used for. I know it is a piggy back ecu. But as i am not that tech minded i dont know what it does. Could someone please explain to me what it is used for and what are it's functions. Someone said to me that it helps control the fuel when going na-t, but are there any functions/uses for a tt engine? If so what are they? and does it help with controlling the boost? (ie incresing it) and does it help with fuel cut (same as fcd) when going bpu? There are probably simple answers to these questions, but i have tried looking at its technical info and just got more confused.
  12. Would this kit be okay for an auto?
  13. How much would this cost to fit? Are there any garages that could fit this kit?
  14. Really need this car gone now, because i've just bought another one and i can't keep both (missus) . So any offers at all would be considered.
  15. The electric aerial has now been fixed too.
  16. Did you get this done on yours Stratty?
  17. It's just that someone mentioned something about getting a catback exhaust for a tt if i was going to do a na-tt conversion. If its not necessary then i can get it done sooner.
  18. Just had a thought regatrding my na-tt conversion. My exhaust is stock na one. Would i need one suitable for a tt?
  19. Shame... but then he was supposed to be holding that car for me for the weekend. That's before you went to see it by the way. Wouldn't answer my texts either. Then he told me it was sold.
  20. Was it that no paperwork one? Did he want a silly price or something?
  21. What sort of power would that produce?
