  2. Sad news. Another wrestling legend dead RIP Macho Man
  3. Yeah that's a good point. Might just go back to my original plan then & name it after the town.

    Dodgy Key???

Yeah i had a Renault Kangoo van do this to me. It would only do it with one of the keys so i put it down to the immob chip in the key.
  5. That would catch the eye alright but i would have to rename it after the recession lol.
  6. Ah that's a shame, i was looking forward to this.
  7. Yeah true, that would also save on signage costs.
  8. I was thinking that Peter as the garage has the name on it already. It was a main dealers so i'm getting garage, showroom, offices ect but as the name of the place was in the old name i want everyone to know it's in new hands incase of any bad feelings when they were going under.
  9. No i'm thinking all makes & models. I'm also going to keep things fast & simple at the start, like servicing, clutches, timing belts, brakes, shocks, diagnostics, tyres ect. Not really engine internals, rebuilds or anything major like that.
  10. Can some of you help me with ideas for a name for my garage please? I'm hoping to open up a garage in the next month or so & need help with a name to register. I was thinking RS Auto Servicing but i'm now thinking your own name is the same idea as most other places. So at the minute i'm thinking something like Auto Doctors & maybe a pic of a nurse with a spanner in her hand as the logo, what do you think? The most important thing is to be memorable & to be taking serious. Any other ideas?
  11. Tyson interview on hangover 2, he's wired to the moon lol. B4uCo-Mz0To
  12. Very nice motor mate. Can i ask though why 6x9's in the front & components in the rear you should have put them the other way around.
  13. I have the very same wheels mate & was also going to change them until i found out the price. They are very nice wheels though, just make sure you keep the lip polished up as mine went a little corroded. I have since went over the lip with wire wool & 1500 grit wet & dry & they are like brand new again
  14. Hahaha good one, i tried working that out before i read the rest but failed lol.
  15. I know what you mean but the garage i'm in now is known for being expensive & we are still upto our eyes. People seem to be looking after the cars they have these days & not changing so much. I'm going to take another drive out today for a good look around but it's a big village & there is no other garage within about 10 miles. The garage we are looking at was a main dealer but afaik they were told to move into a business park (i will find out more about this). I already have customers who use me at home & so does my mate. We will be located just of a slip road on the main dublin to galway motorway. The thing with letting the public use the lifts ect would prob be very expensive for public liability insurance plus alot of people don't really know how to maintain cars properly.
  16. Me & a mate are looking into opening a garage. We have found a place that is fully kitted out & are happy enough with the price of lease. Now here's the problem, he is out of work & i'm finishing up in a week. I've spoke to a few people who told me we can get help with the lease & stock ect but that's just from people who was told from a friend of a friend sort of thing. Does anyone know how to go about this? Another thing i need is a good business plan but not really sure how to go about this? My mate was manager in a garage before & we are both good workers so i know this will work. All we need to do is get help for the first few month & i'm sure we can take it from there. Thanks, Rab
  17. Ooops look what i've started, sorry Ric. To be fair i never thought about Ric not trading on here as i got my work off him threw facebook.
  18. A Sunday School teacher was speaking to her class one morning and asked the question, "When you die and go to Heaven, which part of your body goes first?" Bethany raises her hand and said "I think it's your hands Miss" "Why do you think it's your hands, Bethany?" asked the teacher. Bethany replied, "Because when you pray, you hold your hands together in front of you so God must takes your hands first." "What a wonderful answer!" the teacher exclaimed. "What does everyone else think?" Young Timmy raises his hand and says, "Miss I think it's your mouth, because when you say your prayers that's where the words come from, so it must be your mouth!" "Well done Timmy, does anyone else have any other ideas?" asked the teacher. Little Johnny raised his hand and said, "Miss, I think it's your legs." The teacher looks at him with a bemused look on her face. "Why do you think it would be your legs Johnny?" "Well Miss, I walked into my Mum and Dad's bedroom last night, and Mum had her legs straight up in the air and she was screaming, "Oh God, I'm coming!" If Dad hadn't pinned her down, we'd have lost her!."
  19. Page 5 & you will see the pics (5th post down), also he will buff the plastic up like new. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?240935-next-gen-led-halo-headlights-and-refurb/page5&highlight=led+headlights
  20. Blueangel can refurb your headlights. I got my headlights refurbished, facelifted & leds added. I'll see can i dig out a pic.
  21. Haha that's class. Is that the is250?
  22. Your spot on. The most commen fault with the evos is the AYC pump. Harry Hockly motorsport will refurbish the AYC pump for about £500. The biggest problem with them though is trapped air. Mitsubishi recomend changing the AYC fluid every 4500 miles but what they don't tell you is that is only the clutch part & not the pump fluid. The clutch part is just like changing gear oil & dosn't need bleeding, but the pump part (fluid in the boot) only really needs done around every 3 years or 30000-40000 miles & will need bleeding out afterwards. Evo 6 is the car i would go for & the engines are bullet proof (but the supras is nuke proof )
