  1. Bearing in mind im rarely on here the past few years.... what happened to Whifbitz are they no longer a trader on here?
  2. I'm heading for 6 years on axle stands now haha. I only took the hubs off to powder coat and replace the bearings... It escalated quickly.
  3. Sorry I didn't see the question until tonight... Yes it's still sat on the bench in all its glory haha. Yes Its a stock replacement I ran stock pipes with silicone couplers as the rubber ones were crispy.
  4. I'm poor I need all the monies...
  5. If you shout loudly into one end it makes turbo noises though... Top tier stuff
  6. Price drop Ladies and Gents had a few no shows from Facebook marketplace losing the will to live.... somebody come buy this magnificent cooler box thingy it says Whifbitz on it it must be good
  7. Now listed on Facebook (by Kathryn) as I left months ago due to Lee Elkin Afonso constantly asking me on dates. He said something about Autos are better than 6 speeds IIRC.
  8. Note: as it appears issues of reserving items is now an issue amongst the Supra community the item will be available until such time as I recieve full payment. Additionally I will be listing this item on other platforms as of tomorrow 04/02/2022. Regards Matt
  9. Hi Guys/Girls I have up for grabs my Whifbitz intercooler this is the 3rd generation unit (mk1 was not bar and plate as far as im aware and mk2 didnt fit correctly) As many of you are aware as per my thread started in 2013 I bought this new and fitted this unit for summer 2014 season to replace the aging crumbling stock unit. It has done an admirable job however again as many of you are aware my car has been on stands for going on 5 years now and i have acquired a CW Intercooler instead. As such this unit is now removed and as seen on my bench photos attached. Again for those of you who are familiar with my car it was imported in 2013 and has never been used in winter/salt and has always been stored in a heated garage. Thusly I would say this intercooler fitted in 2014 has seen at best 3 seasons of use amounting to not much use. As per forum feedback over the years I would suggest this intercooler is suitable for BPU twins or a very small single turbo setup as we are all aware SMICs generally heat soak quicker than FMIC counterparts. Price: Postage: can be arranged via UPS insured probably £15 to UK Mainland. No offers at this time please Gents/Ladies This is the thread showing fitment etc should you want to peruse... https://www.mkivsupra.net/topic/214841-mattps-98-vvti-tiptronic-supra-updated-13072021/page/5/
  10. Well hello Andrew nice to see you are still around. If your still living down the road I can happily come and collect the car and look after it for you It would be nice to drive a Supra again as mine has been sat in the garage 5 years or so on stands now haha.
  11. I imported through JM Imports... But I recommend Torque GT you made the right choice.
  12. The white K&N I used to use on the old MR2s. But given the use this latest car I got gets Im lucky to cover a few hundred miles a year with odd squirt of boost. I'm old now gentlemen I spend all my time cleaning parts of the car nobody will ever see haha.
  13. Well shit all these years I've just ran stock filter and high quality oil. Saying that the car never ever gets a hard time as most of the northern lot ridicule my economic driving haha. But il certainly look at them if it's a standardised thing... Still learning all these years later..
  14. V8 filter... I've never heard of that one is it the 1UZ you speak of... Why would we use a bigger filter?
  15. I suppose it will stay as is atleast the oil only gets changed once a year....
  16. So here we are 13 continuous years of Supra ownership (8 years with the current car) However it has been sat on 4 stands for the past 4 years in the garage and now I'm slowly doing a bit of general TLC I remember the oil filter on the 2JZGTE VVTI is a pain in the ass to get off cleanly and generally has poor access. And yet I don't ever recall any of you mentioning a simple solution pros/cons. Soooooo... Show Tell what have you lot done with the stock oil filter location or is it just an accepted nuisance.
  17. And to think I binned the stock smic back in 2014>15.... I have all the brackets just not those 2 clips
  18. Excellent my good Sir... One shall acquire said goods on the double..
  19. Excellent does anyone know which ones are right as the car is not at my location at present.
  20. Afternoon Gents/Ladies I have recieved my new CW SMIC and as per yesterday I removed my Whiffin SMIC however I now have an unforeseen issue. The Whifbitz SMIC had a threaded upper bracket however the Stock and CW do not they employ two clips. My question is thusly can anybody tell me are these generic clips if so what are they. Or as I have since disposed of my old stock SMIC am I a bit stuck.
  21. So your all on board.... Splendid
  22. You need to stick some ebay Happy Gallops or Ling Longs on it... There is nothing stronger than tyres made of Chineesm.
  23. Surely can't be much heavier than our pig iron 2J blocks and associated bits. We can all make turbo noises with our mouths it will be glorious.
  24. Funnily enough that's what I saw yesterday.... So should we all just get in line and hand over our money?
