Next up was a full OBX-R exhaust for a TT supra, the good nes is that it fit perfectly up to the obx header or the stock manifold/1st cat, this means that any tt full exhaust system will bolt up to an na Here is the 3 piece system, i got it on ebay for $260 us dollars!!!!!!!! OBX-R on ebay Shipping was $75 for me and I think the seller will ship international for twice that, Still it's a steal.

Guys, I'll put some Dyno sheets up sometime but It just isn't cost effective to put my daily driver on a dyno when I am not making any ECU changes. Look we have all heard all of the cons of trying to enhance an na, but if you look at my fist post you will see why i am doing this, I'll be asking the mods to clean up any posts that do not contribute to the thread. Thanks Scooter, I couldn't say it any better, The turbo guys just can't seem to get it in their heads that not all of us supra owners are after 1000 bhp

Next up was The OBX-R exhaust headers. not bad for $275 I got them from Amazon.com OBX header on amazon They are designed for a LHD Supra so I had to flatten a small section on the outermost 3 to 1 collector by the lambda bung. not hard at all just heat it until it glows and give it a few taps with a flat hammer. Not you will have to change the o2 sensors from toyota stye to universal 1 wire sensors, I got them for a total of 29 pounds from a great seller on ebay.uk O2 on ebay I Cannot recomend this seller more!

The first thing I did was ad an Injen cold air intake from a Lexus sc300 Mine is blue but the same I bought it for $264 from horsepowerfreaks.com Injen Intake on HPF It's quite pricey for the benifit, but it looks ans sounds miles better than the lumpy plastic intake tube with it's weird and restrictive resonance chambers, This is designed for a car with a MAF, mine worked with the intake temperature housing for the HKS power intake that was on the car when i bought it. Someonw will have to verify it will work with stock. The car seemed more responsive but not really more powerful after the instal but the induction sound is great!
  6. EDIT AND DISCLAIMER: If you are reading this and you own a TT Stop and Read this first! Most likely you should just go to another thread, but if you want to read on than 1) I know the money would be better spent on a tt 2) I know I won't get alot of HP 3) I Know you can lose midrange power, I am an automotive engineer. if you say an N/A engine needs back pressure to make power I will publicly embarrass you, It's about pulse timing, scavenging and resonance. No engine "needs" backpressure but since it is unavoidable their exhaust systems were designed with the 3 above elements in mind at what the engineers calculated would be the backpressure level the engine would operate at. please look it up and save me the trouble 4) I do not have nor ever will have a before and after dyno sheet and I don't care, the car looks/feels/sounds and accelerates better now and if a simple subjective evaluation is not good enough for you than stop reading now. 5)The acronym BPU(Basic Performance upgrade) Meaning simple breathing mods to an engine, was NOT developed for the Supra TT and has been around since the 60's it is Not exclusive to you! It's not a trademark so just deal with it. 6)for the NA owners, if you want big power: go turbo, you will not be threatening any stock TT's at this level. So if you want to make your na more fun without spending a mint, read on Hey all, I just wanted to shed some light on whats doable with the NA supra before going all out na-t or tt swap. I want mine to remain NA for reliability reasons as it's my daily driver. I already have a fast 400+bhp temperamental Skyline. Unfortunately My memory card is corrupted so all the pictures i took during the install are gone, I'll post some up tomorrow of the completed work. I did this all on a very small budget about $800 U.S. dollars all in and I will provide links to where I bought all my parts from, I'm sure some of the vendors will ship international if you ask, but access to the us military postal system in Germany plus my exemption from VAT helped keep prices reasonable.
  7. Hey guys, I'll be there probably in my Supra (if the skyline isn't ready by then) to meet up with the skyline owners forum and I'd like to meet a few of you as well. I'll be available to translate in case you guys have a problem with the ring marshals or any thing serious, Which was well appreciated by the skyline owners last year. The ring is like a second home to me, and part of the reason why I moved to Germany, (unlimited autobahns being the primary) See you there! Glenn
  8. Here you go http://www.motortraders.net/imports/spec.asp?id=1220 for a 1993 jspec na auto it was 3,000,000 yen or 169,399.53 DKK for you (Danish Kroner) at todays exchange rate I take paypal LOL
  9. In case anyone is interested they are single wire types
  10. looking online they seem to be 1 wire types, can any one confirm?
  11. Oh god! as a skyline owner it hurts me to see this, You know the social service that takes kids away from bad parents? We should have one to take cars away from unfit owners. This poor skyline has been obviously abused and needs to find a good home. I'm sad now
  12. Hey all I don't have my supra handy at the moment to check (about 100kms away) but I just received my new N/A headers in the post and they use a standard Lambda fitting instead of the Toyota 2 bolt flange type, My question is: Are the o2 senors 1 or 3 wire sensors, I'd like to order them tonight so I could put my headers on this weekend if they get here in time:) Thanks in advance
  13. I agree, FIA (Ferrari International Assistance) were angry thier team lost at the last minute. Expect to see more "rote-car-reglen" German for "red car rules" What germans call it when the stewards penalize a car or come up with a new rule when some one(Mclaren-Mercedes) Overtakes a Red painted car with a prancing horse on it.
  14. I never guessed my loyalties would be tested at the first meet
  15. It's on the same day as the skylineowners.com trip, see attached pic for the source of my frustration! What do I do?
  16. It's a great Group of guys, I am their Germany rep and have met them on their annual Nurburgring trip, Top Blokes all of them and you won't run into any of that SUPRA VS SKYLINE BS (unless you provoke it!)
  17. Hey nice to meet you, I am flying to the UK on the 27th to pick up my Supra, I can't wait, I feel like a little kid at Christmas. I'll be in Heidelberg all week next week though if you want to meet up. I am used to standing out to be honest, as there are even less Skylines in Germany than Supras, but both cars are stunning, I'm looking forward to having both in my garage
  18. @everybody who so warmly welcomed me, Thank you! This is an amazingly friendly & helpful forum, I expect i will be spending some considerable time on here @darek300zx, and everybody who has offered me a chance to buy one of your beautiful machines, Thank you very much but I have found one on the site, will be flying to collect on or about the 27th. While the buyers market created the current economic situation has helped me finally acquire one of my dream cars, I regret so many of you have been forced to sell on, I hope everybody's situation improves to the point where you don't have to sell or that you manage to find a new home for your babies soon. @supradibs, lived in frankfurt for 3 years, but had to move to Heidelberg a year ago, about 60 miles south, I make the drive nearly every Friday and Back on Monday, the skyline is fairly thirsty and unreliable as of late Which is why I chose an n/a, I frequently get stuck in traffic, and my skyline's uprated clutch is a pain which is why I wanted an auto (the fact that they go for less is a big bonus!) my (city/winter/crappy-weather/skyline is broken) car is a 1984 VW Golf cabriolet with 50hp is totally unsuited for weekend duty because id rather walk to the nightclub than showing up in that oddly reliable but dreadful looking car. Which is why I chose a Supra!
  19. Thank you all for the warm welcome! Ive found 2 or 3 nice examples here, and I will be buying one soon!
  20. Hello All, first a bit about myself I am currently a Nissan Skyline R33 GTST owner and the International Area rep for Germany for skylineowners.com After multiple issues with my skyline in the 5 years I have owned it I have finally had enough and just want something I can drive to work everyday and not be embarraseed to be seen in. My good friend Kim1978 has a great 95tt and convinced me to switch sides as it were. So hello to all and please let me know if you are aware of a good condition supra for sale at a good price NA and auto are fine as I want to keep the inital cost down and learn a bit before upgrading. I'll decide later about the skyline Cheers! Glenn
