  5. just ordered my DTA S80 list of features below for anyone that is interested. (only problem now is i need to order my new injectors/fuel rail/fpr/fuel pump/ custom make exhaust manifold/new bearings in the T04R lol ahhh its going to be a good year and i hope to have all this done before suprapod Stunning performance and complete environmental protection combined with a truly impressive and expanding range of features The S80 and S100 ECUs represent the top of the range, differing only in the number of individual coils and sequential injectors they can handle. Comprehensive input and output features are provided allowing sophisticated 6, 8 , 10 and 12 cylinder engines to be controlled easily and successfully. An extremely high level of environmental protection has been implemented in its design allowing safe use in extreme conditions such as grass track, off road, marine and motorcycles. ECU Functions Engine Configuration 20,000 rpm capability Flexible and easily adapted to different OEM, crank, cam sensor arrangements. Genuine four and two stroke support. Twin spark engines. Twin injector engines. Sequential or grouped injection. Individual coils, wasted spark or distributor. Unequal coil firing capability. Unequal injection angle capability. Delayed sequential injection. User controlled fan activation. Sensors can be calibrated individually with a lot of preset options supplied. Flexible Tacho Output soft and hard rev limits Main Fuel and Ignition Functions Two main fuel, spark and turbo maps selected by a dashboard switch. Comprehensive start up fuelling options both time and temperature dependant. Air, coolant and manifold pressure compensation maps. Throttle transient increase compensation. Throttle transient reduction compensation. RPM and load breakpoints can be calibrated by the user. Throttle or MAP as load. All maps with one or two dimensional with interpolation as required. Lambda control functions Extensive lambda parameters table to ensure stable closed loop operation and emissions requirements can be met where needed. Full three dimensional lambda target map. Auto-tuning function. Turbo Control Functions Open or closed loop turbo pressure control via PWM valve. Modify target turbo pressure by gear selected. Modify target turbo pressure by vehicle speed. Two control maps selected by switch on dashboard. Active base PWM map for easy calibration. Idle Control Functions Open or closed loop idle speed control via PWM valve. ALS Control Functions Full ALS ignition and fuel maps. ALS valve control together with map switching controlled by dash board switch. Cam Control Functions Open or closed loop cam advance control via PWM valve. Static offset table to zero out electrical movement effects. Active Cam Target Advance map, load and speed dependant. Active base PWM map for easy calibration. VTEC Control Water Injection When not being used to control the camshaft, cam base PWM map can be used instead for water injection, giving complete load and speed dependence. Flexible Input/Output Three uncommitted input tables which use 0 5 volt inputs or any input the S60 knows already, linked to fuel and advance modifiers and a PWM output. Launch Control Fully flexible first gear launch capability. Extensively tunable to individual vehicles. Traction Control Fully adjustable from the dashboard. Measured from all 4 wheels Full Throttle Gear Shift Cut Shift cut capability with 1ms resolution, variable for each gear with full switch de-bounce capability. Voltage Compensation Tables User configurable voltage compensation tables for injector dead time and coil on time (dwell time). Firmware The ECU firmware is flash upgradeable via the serial port with a special cable and software. Current firmware and software published on http://www.dtafast.co.uk. CAN PC Communications. The ECU can communicate with the PC via our USB -> CAN converter. This solves the problem of unreliable USB -> RS232 converters. Data Logging Up to thirty six separate items can be logged. Three user selectable logging frequencies. Up to 16 hours logging capability. Graphing can be done on-line to the ECU. Diagnostics and Test Features. Full sensor diagnostics and fault recording. 6. honda civic aerodeck VTI i had mine for ages just recently sold it for 1k 160bhp standard ace cars
  7. tbh mate we've all been there at some stage. although luckily in mine i was only doing 40 and the van hit me lol but still its scary when they say (you could have died) yea thats not nice. i calmed down a lot after that glad your ok and no harm came to the woman though thats the main thing. we all drive like that some times. it just takes a little smash to calm us back down. my before: After: must be a thing with honda's p.s van driver wasnt wearing his seatbelt. smashed his teeth out etc. not really a good scene. although he tried to blame it all on me
  8. ah awsome cheers for the info, the guy i use up here as i say he loves the DTA so i'll probably go with that plus i can get the S80 pro for £600 and i get discount on mapping (mates rates rock lol) i was originally thinking motec as he can map them as well but there a bit out of my price range unfortunatly. again thanks for the info thats all i needed
  9. i was with elephant and paying £1200 a year gone down a hell of a lot now though and i'm 22.
  10. welcome along and its not always about the age its the mentality you have behind the wheel as long as your not pretending to be a star in the fast and the furious your A ok p.s i owned a supra turbo at 20 heres one i spotted today its mark_p's its v nice anyway haha http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=207637
  11. Hola, i know my cars a soarer but the engines arnt all that different vvti and turbo but just wondering if anyone with vvti has used any of the DTA fast ecu's? my main tuner uses them a fair ammount setting up S2000's a 500bhp corsa, kit cars, pretty much anything really he swears by them, but i'v never seen any on supra's or soarers just wondering if anyone on here might have one? just want to know what they are like they have a ton of features but are they any good on toyota's? cheers
  12. could buy my civic VTI bus was advertising it at 1200 but meh i'll go for nearest offer she's got a b18c4 engine currently running 190bhp Aerodeck (estate) quality car 114k (honda engines aspecially B series engines go forever ask anyone haha) half leather interior new trailing arm bushes, new fuel filter, oil filter, front brakes, front tyres etc hehe. i kept this car well serviced as it was my run around but i no longer need it got an auris run around now
  13. you tried the mk3 supra boys? or fleabay? they snatch up mkiv wheels. i know i had a set when i had a mk3 if you want i can advertise these on the mk3 forum?
  14. holaaaa nice supe. also nice soarer.. i say u keep the soarer or if its to badly damaged buy another great cars. so whats been done to both the cars? drift spec - soarer road - supra
  15. you could buy another soarer for much cheaper wheres the soarer love lol. *note* not to get bashed he does already have a supra so i can't be slated for saying a soarer is cheaper.
  16. Hola guys, went under my car the other day just to investigate some knocking and i find my rear trac arm is slightly bent.. this may explain why when the back goes it always tends to go right if possible does anyone have any lying around for a half decent price. bush preferably in good condition cheers
  17. i'd say it would only effect rusty cars just as the ice freezes and expands and all that. the thing you most have to worry about is the gritters rusting the bottom or chipping the paint you have to remember car paint was designed to be used in rough conditions.
  18. i'm saving TC for monday snow should be gone then
  19. wheres my snow i want snow damn carlisle never gets snow
  20. i doubt you will be getting insured at your age dude. i mean i'm 22 and it was costing me £1400 to insure a bloomin mk3 supra turbo. luckily now on my soarer vvti turbo and its only £950 when i was your age i was driving a 2.2 prelude and that was still costing 1500 to insure. long story short i crashed that car.. grew up and bought a supra then a soarer lol. i say keep the car buy a mx-5 or similar get used to RWD mod the supra then insure it when your 21
  21. agree'd the wheels on th aristo have to go to be fair but a great car.
  22. hope this isnt a repost but 2 new cars from toyota that just took my fancy The Lexus LFA 560bhp v10 monster supercar.. which i say is the new supra http://www.goo-net.com/tokyomotorshow2009/gallery/l01.html# and the FT-86 the new AE86 in my eyes how ace can we say this is going to be http://www.goo-net.com/tokyomotorshow2009/gallery/t01.html# if its a repost feel free to close but i just couldnt keep my pants dry
