  2. for some stupid reason its 3000 when its on fully comp my rx7 nearly 2years ago was 400 quid less and i was only 20!
  3. hi all thinking of buying my dads supra tt jspec and finish the mazda (mazota) project at a later date , just wondering what type of qoutes i should be getting and insurance companies to try i was paying 2600 on my fd3s nearly two years ago and the cheapest qoute ive had is 1700 and im 22 and have 4 years no claims it has cat 1 alarm it has bodykit and a S/S exhaust, adjustable suspension 19@alloys engine is pretty much standard bar an hks dumpvalve cheers marc what code would it be too would this be rz or sz cheers
  4. looks like a treeroot has pushed the tarmac up, nowt to do with the actual tarmacing, it still should have been sorted though as should all of the potholes in the roads but the council work with 5million men doing a two or three man job if they acutualy used the resources properly this wouldnt happen
  5. i really love rx7s well the look anyway, as some of you might have seen in my mazota thread i didnt have much luck with mine, i wish id done my homework and done compression tests etc, but in the right hands these are awesome machines
  6. This is unreal I remember your blue supra from JNE and from the Durham mini meets but this surpasses it by far it it not finished can't wait to see the finished product
  7. strangley i like these too but do you think they look like a hearse?
  8. would that mean we pay less tax
  9. do you realy think that murderers, rapists, peadophiles can be rehabillitated,if you think so then i think your wrong! death penelty works well enough in the usa, asia and africa your dna is produced when you are made, that cant be changed in my opinion
  10. I was paying 2600 on my Rex I was 20 4 years no claims go for a car with a smaller engine took me ages too find someone that would insure me good luck with the search
  11. Na you can't see the weave it's smooth and it's very green so the best option is to mop it off I think it's worth a shot and would improve the look of the car
  12. i had thought of turps but didnt know if it would ruin the carbon too
  13. not the best pic but its the only one i could find of it from the front its in the background lol
  14. is it possible to re shine the carbon afterwards? if i cock it up because its been done so that the carbon is a wide stripe through the middle and the paint is down the sides of the bonnet
  15. As per title is there any way of removing paint from a carbon bonnet without damaging the carbon, it's been on since my dad bought his supra a few year ago a it looks cac tbh and the is car kawasaki ninja green you can vision how bad it looks thanks marc
  16. hi welcome nice looking exterior, engine bay could do with a tidy up though
  17. loving the old rst mate mine was mint fun was topping 220 bhp very scary torque steer was mentle
  18. my current car my broken rx7 and my previous rs turbo cabby next to my dads ninja green supra tt
  19. yeah seen the thread before but aint heard nowt from peterp on the subject for a while i think hes going for the 1jz instead of the 2jz i have put alot of thought into the build and realy cant go back sold my rotor engine and box got all the other engine ancillarys etc for sale at the mo so i cant go back plus it will be a total beast the twins should fit as per the measurements the aint to much difference between the single and the twins cant realy afford to spend another 5grand on a single turbo conversion although i do already have a t6 single turbo manifold
  20. aint been on for a while cheers for the offer of help mate at the time i posted this i was doing well but a few days later i was layed off (and not payed by the dick i was working for) am back at work now but its been a set back to say the least i was also restoring a mercedes cosworth which i have nearly finished so i have my swap kit and other bits from yankey land payed for when i come to sell it (ASAP) this put me back a few months but the aim is still the summer!
  21. thanks for the offfer mate but ive made my mind up the 2jz is going in the rex i dont want a v8 i know the torque is amazing but im looking for something jap its a jap car after all, i think il be sticking to the twin turbos though the single conversion is a step to far at the mo[sAD][/sAD]
  22. yeah updates too follow il start a project thread once the parts start rolling in ! im gonna get the suspension to bits over christmas and start painting wishbones rear subs etc plus got my dash to finish off so il put some pics of them up to, what type of products are good too use to upgrade the std twin turbo system btw so i can start getting parts in ready for when my engine arrives theres the easy one which is the bleed valve and induction exhaust but what else
  23. yeah i know the 1jz is cheaper lighter but im doin to be the best and theres alot more aftermarket parts avaieble.and johny g the bonnet already for sale on japnortheast i hate it also was gonna buy a new one when i got the car but it blew up 175km after i got it im on the look out for a standerd one because i needs a big bulge init to fit the jz in
