  1. yeah sounds nice on idle nice rumble but when you hit the go pedal hard people know about it

After spending yesterday morning under my car on the drive fitting my decats, i see why people would rather send it to a garage than do it them selves especially with about a foot of room to work in. The 4 manifold bolts were a pain in the arse to get off rest was simple just took my time and all went together well. My systems a 3" cat back i got for £67 brand new from topgear exhausts off an ebay auction, decats £90 2nd hand for them both so for £157 full ss system not bad me thinks. Reset the ecu and off i went drove round for a bit normal then at night had a good heavy foot session (private road of course) sounds amazing and as my mum said this morning it really growls now love it. (non turbo by the way)

  5. you can get hydro shields for that injen and k and n do them i love the sucking noise you get when its out in the open gets a few good comments anyway just my opinion
  6. as performance goes there will be no gains to be had from ditchin it ive got an apexi on mine routed down in to the bumper left cut out sounds brill if your in to noise
  7. maybe boxes to keep the noise down when i removed that piping and replaced it with a custom made one the noise level was well different
  8. any tips on undoing the nuts halfway down on the manifold got the 2 closest to the car loosend but the 2 facing the firewall are hardcore to get to especially the one close to the engine

  12. ive got a 1st and 2nd decat for my n\a just wondered the 1st decat the y pipe what gasket do i use to connect to the manifold part just standard toyota gaskets or do i need to use paste as im not really a fan of paste never really had much luck with it thanks

  14. easier than replacing the rubbers is just undo the top put a washer behind each put rubbers back on job done no more rattles

  17. this happened to me on my old set of alloys exact same tear i was doin 20mph when it happened out of a side road didnt bang just sounded like something was stuck to the tyre when got out and looked inside of tyre looked exactly like yours
  18. there oem copys but theres been a few people say theyve had them and are excellent fit the offer ive been given for the club is excellent and hes been very helpful too
