  1. have a look in my garage i might be tempted to sell mine for that ill have to have at look at what my other wheels look like on first though the wheels are axe ap30 18`s they were refurbed but not perfect now but when cleaned up look fine

  3. yeah bud it was a very long stretch hence the version of my private road as said it was pretty much at the end of the revs and as for the sat nav i dont know allways seemed accurate but couldnt prove to you it was 100% accurate
  4. I did 152 or 155 long time ago when it could move on the sat nav on my private m6 version road but it deffo didnt have much left in it revs were almost all the way to redline

  6. you sure it just didnt hit a little wheel spin making the revs flick up quick a little, when mine felt sluggish i took the intake manifold off cleaned the inside of it around the butterfly valve ect as its caked in cr*p did spark plugs oil filters o2 sensors everything i could think of, but i allways do the manifold as it allways makes me think the butterflies are sticking abit if not do what neil does and give it death down the motorway see if that clears it up

  8. cars going my mates garage on monday so thought just in case its one of those parts ill see if anyone has them lying around ????
  9. its a whole new diff unit on now bought from keron the a01b i think they were what bearings and seals do you mean i presume you ment the old diff unit????
  10. as said in previous posts i have replaced the broken diff with a NEW lsd/torsen diff and we still have a prob so rules out diff
  11. UPDATE put the diff on yesterday and left it for the night, today went out started the car after a flat battery put it in gear clutch out and nothing still no move = jacked the car up 1 side turned the rear wheel manually propshaft spins (car not running) = same but with car running put in gear let clutch out propshaft has no movement alot of oil under the passenger side of the car cant visually see any cracks or holes in the box what am i too check next any ideas ??????
  12. they were just open diffs that took a thrashing my bros a mechanic so i have faith in his installing, i smahed the 1st one up 2nd few teeth missing and now finally a proper diffs going on
  13. cheers chris will fit later as its a quick job this is my third i will also get vids of whats happening does anybody have an idea why the pass rear is having so much trouble spining bar the obvious caliper this is what happens spins almost round gets tight spins a little freer gets tight spins a little freer gets stuck like a warped disk maybe if that helps what could cause the problem like things to check does the handbrake use the caliper or shoes ?? i read a thread where some one said there car lost drive and it was down to a cv joint could this be a possibility ??
  14. It was an open diff and the bits missing were mm`s i have a whole new lsd to fit in its place going on tomoz its also the wheel not spining freely thats a prob backwards freely but not forwards ????
  15. hey, after my car breaking down after the tunnel run we finally took the diff of today to see if it was that that had gone there were a few pieces of metal floating few teeth missing bits but nothing major to stop drive the car would not drive but could be pushed, diff off now and right wheel spins freely left wheel moves backwards but forwards is stiff and feels like it gets stuck part way car goes in gear fine, idles fine, still feels like it has a clutch no previous slipping of any sort just puzzled as to whats left to check any ideas does the car have handbrake shoes ? but as said dont think this would stop drive as we can push it what should we check for???? also when it went it felt like a pull from the rear then an almost sketchy handling feeling like a wheel locked up but also revs shot up and no drive

  18. yeah got a run and a few vids i heard an imprezza crashed after we had been through a guy at the petrol station told us dint sound good And i broke down on the way home my car is a money pit
  19. im just home now on the way home car lost drive so waiting for it to arrive on tow at home

  21. would upping the compression not be an option too ? i`d say just go for power to weight make it lighter
  22. on the w58 where is the nut for filling and emptying the oil ? i want to get it done anyone have pics or could explain to me where they are ?
  23. im double decat and 3 inch exhaust on my n/a to be honest felt no difference
  24. night shift doesnt have a security guard they only work in the day
  25. yeah just found out ...... 1 lad grey hoody did 2 cars then came back 15 min did another 2 went away and came back 15 min and did another 2 carnt i.d him so wont be catchin him
