think your right. if i remember rightly this one is the same size as the stock smic.

I never noticed any problems having it side mounted. Its no heavy than stock smic. and correct me if im wrong but the car was designed with the intercooler side mounted, after market smic new sell for 450+ from dealers. quick sale 150 i guess. but i aint looking for quick sale £230
