  1. Simply awesome. Lets not get them started on "there, their and they're" or "were and where".... we'd be here all night lol I think "its" was right by the way.
  2. OK guys and gals... I went to CHI2K8 a couple of months back and I'd thought I'd share my pics with you guys. I hope you like.
  3. I like the RMM carbon fibre rear wing. Sick. Click linky and scrolliollio down to the RMM. http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/Templates/frmTemplateM7.asp?SubFolderID=2594&SearchYN=N
  4. I was looking at this one too... asked Jurgen for a price before I saw this thread. It looks very clean but it looks nothing more than a clean car with a body kit. I have to say, I'm usually not a big fan of bodykits but this one is pretty smooth looking and suits the car. The wheels aren't my cup of tea though, I don't think they suit the car. I'm pretty sure these wheels are not off a stock evo. If this car was a little cheaper I'd be all over this. The hunt continues.
  5. Looking for the same car? I call dibs
  6. Ah balls Did you get a good price?
  7. I love the "Propa bungalo style" caption in the mag.... hahah. I don't mean to dis the car but it looks very "90's max power/fast car" to me. The prostitute nail varnish paint is very bling too. I feel sorry for the guy that's spunked 100G on this car. You could buy a GTR with that and have a sack full of money left over to buy mods... or how about a Ferrari or a couple or Porsches. As long as he got enjoyment out of his 100 large I guess that's all that matters. I will say that I do really like the brakes - AP rock It's not my cup of tea but you've got to appreciate it for what it is.... someone has put a lot of time, effort and money into this car and that itself deserves respect. It got a magazine feature so there are bound to be people out there that drool over this car (namely the magazines readers). It might be worth advertising it in there. Good luck with the sale!
  8. Hi I'm currently in the US but will be returning home on the 9th December. I'm looking to buy a twin turbo 6 speed Non VVTI. I plan on converting the car to a Single Turbo but I will consider a pre done Single. Nothing else considered so: NO VVTI's NO AUTO's NO Tiptronic's NO N/A's I not really too bothered about the year as long as the car is straight and clean. I would prefer a stock looking car. I have a decent budget. 6-8K for a early years Will consider going for a later model and spending the money needed for a non VVTI Royal Saphire Pearl or Quicksilver. People with cars for sale please PM me what you have. People who know of cars I may be interested in please shoot me a PM aswell. Looking forward to see whats out there. Karl:)
  9. I am interested in this car should you ever choose to sell PM me. Thanks Karl
  10. What's the mileage on her? I'd be interested in it if you came down to somewhere between 6 and 7. I don't mean to low ball but thats what you can pick them up for at the mo. I'd be looking to buy after after 9th dec. when I get back to the UK. Have a think and send me a pm if you'd consider selling it for that sort of money. Karl
  11. Have you still got the white one? A little more detail on that one please.
  12. Quickly going back to the engine management... AEM seems to be the top box over here and I should be able to pick one up for a good price here.... how is AEM supported in the UK?
  13. Steve... your car / Jakes old car looks lush! Very nice mate. I've been looking at the CCW SP20 wheels for mine...very similar to your wheels hahah. How do you like the motec? Is it well supported? Do you feel the VVTI is holding you back? Our cars could turn out looking very similar (evil twin perhaps)... I say that but I need to find the car first.... I guess I mean the car I am putting together in my head lol
  14. I'm hearing you on the NA to non VVTI conversion and the non VVTI head on VVTI engine but this is all extra time, money and work. If I can find the ideal car from the get go it's less hassle for me. Trouble is it's finding the bloody thing.... rare as rocking horse poop by the sounds of it.
  15. I'm sure your motor and car isn't shy!! However from what I've reseached the VVTI's are good to modify up to a certian point, but then you hit a wall by the restriction of the VVTI head and it's supporting modifications. I would like to have as little restriction as possible. The facelift VVTI's seem to hold there premium to. I plan to fit a SP67 kit and race intake manifold to a non VVTI and I'm currently researching what EMS to go for.... Solaris seems to be all the hype right now but I'm looking for somehthing that will be well supported by the community and tuners for years to come. I had a bad experience buying an Exede (all the hype at the time) piggyback type ECU for my Evo VIII and now it's about as useful as a paperweight because tuners have advanced ECU-reflash technology so much. Anyways I digress... my colour of choice is RSP. My engine of choice is non VVTI because I want to get it right first time and I don't want to be restricted by the head. If I was looking for a stock car to drive I'd go VVTI but because of my modification plans I'd like to go non VVTI. Another reason for me to go non VVTI is that I have good contacts with american tuners such as Sound Performance....they don't have VVTI motors over here and thus don't have modifications to support this engine. What I'm saying is chances are I'll be buying parts from the US so the non VVTI motor is probably the better motor for me to go for.
  16. This is the bad boy I am looking for. What's yours like? Fancy selling it? I've asked Jurgen to see if he can find one for me
  17. The more I read on here the more I'm thinking about buying a non vvti twin turbo 6 speed. I was thinking of picking up a early model twin turbo six and then converting it to a facelift. Looking around on here and on pistonheads there seems to be a few good buys in the 6-8k range, which will leave me plenty of money for mods. I'd love it if I could find one in that monkey shit brown anthracite... I love that colour and I believe it was only available in 93 so I guess they're pretty rare. Failing that that a clean looking white or black car would be nice. Like I said I plan to fit a sp67 single turbo kit and sp race manifold which I'll be bringing back with me. What engine management system is best for my project? I want something that's going to be around a while and well supported by tuners in the UK. AEM seems to be favoured system here in the states but looking around I see Motec and Solaris are popular here. What do I buy? If I can buy it here in the US and ship it home I could save a few quid... especially if I buy it used. I was also thinking about buying seats, wheels, coilovers and brakes here too. So far I'm thinking Bride seats, CCW wheels, Brembo big brake kit and Ohlins coilovers (might be too expensive) but I'm only guessing right now... I need to research but do you guys have any recommendations in the mean time? I want the car will be as stock looking as possible on the outside with a few subtle mods...maybe a Rod Millan wing and a few subtle touches.... no fast and furious body kits on my supra.
  18. Because I want to stick a sp67 single kit on it and I believe the VVTI motors are harder to mod. Am I wrong?
  19. If there is I wouldn't buy em! :rol:
  20. Oh I forgot to say RHD cars available in the UK or through Jap import. Thanks
