Matt, so is there a big difference between the two different monitoring devices as Chris from 'Hyper' suggests or has your car been mapped 'safe'. Have you asked?

Would not harm it to hone it with a torque plate. I would check the bores for ovality before undoing the plate after honing.. then again after releasing the torque plate just to ensure the stresses have not come into play.

All depends how close the head bolt holes are to the bores I suppose, but at the end of the day it is a big block of cast iron and not ally as you say

I just had a quote off them to fit a RPS clutch and oem flywheel... 6 hours £240+vat, so they are charging £40 per hr

I would take it back to Hyper and tell them your concerns about it being overly rich in certain places and see what they say

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong : Idle :14.7 but will jump about a little Cruise : 14.7 Under load : WOT 11.5 When you jump off the throttle it will jump off the scale (weak) for a second or two so dont worry

Does anyone know if when buying the standard flywheel, does it have the starter ring attached or will one have to be bought seperate/taken from the old wheel?

Our RRG Toyata in Macclesfield charge £79.90 an hour which I think is outrageous, I just had a quote off them to replace the panel where the ignition is and they quoted 1hrs work which is OTT. I not too concerned because somebody else may well be paying. -
