I remember reading about this in a magazine when it first came out. Not my cup of tea at all but there's a HELL of a lot of work gone into it. Genuine Audi R8 head and tail lights too, in case you haven't noticed.

How does this interface with the Syvecs? Is it wireless somehow or does it require a physical connection? Looks very cool!

Scuttle panel write-up edited to include a new pic of the stock panel hinge recess for comparison. In other news, I've just ordered one of SRD's alloy engine undertrays, which should be with me either tomorrow or the day after. To spray or not to spray...?

The noise of mine is actually one of my favourite bits of it now! It adds a nice growly descant to the exhaust note when you're 'pressing on...' It WAS a bit disconcerting the first time I ever drove it though because I REALLY wasn't expecting it... (uh, that and I stalled the engine twice before even leaving Whifbitz because of the snatchiness! )

You would think, wouldn't you? But it's actually OS Giken that are asking for this info not TDI as the supplier. This is why I'm a bit baffled about it because surely it's either one or the other...?

A few members were asking me at the 20th Anniversary shindig where I got my harness bar from, so... It's an NRG Innovations bar from Funky Power. Pic here: It comes in this blue and also a titanium finish for a bit more of a 'stealthy' look. Hope that's helped!

Gotcha. Still something I'm keen to avoid if I can, but it looks like I may have to go down this route... You know what? Me too! There're two options specified on the website, the difference being the length of driveshaft only, which I know from my VIN plate. Why anything else is relevant is anyone's guess...
