  1. Well i was thinking whilst the alarm is going off, it would be rude not to pop in and have the tv away....
  2. Somewhere near me there is a house with its alarm going off. It has been going off for the past 3 nights and occasionally during the day, so im guessing theyre on holiday. Does anybody know if there is anything that can be done about it? As it's starting to get on my tits!
  3. Just wondered if anybody had thought about heading over to the Wellingborough Parade of Power on 4th September? http://www.santapod.co.uk/e_paradeofpower.php Mini meet maybe?

    Vote now!

I like Tommi Mak's too....... Is there a 3 line whip on this vote?
  6. He can still tell his insurers that he wishes to deal with it privately
  7. Whizair fly to Poland - I flew with them to Bulgaria, no probs at all *Just checked, they dont fly from Bristol *And they dont appear to be that cheap either - so you might as well ignore this post....
  8. Im pretty sure i can send this out via a courier from work for around a tenner - so please let me know if anybody is still interested
  9. I think the one i bought was an ebay replica, didnt really fit too well. But i do have it for sale for £40 if you want it

    Missfire

Ive found out why i couldnt read the fault codes - the soldering has had it on the little light cluster with the engine light on it - so i tweaked the wires and got it to work. Just got a regular flash, so no fault codes stored
  11. Just taken the top bit of the dash off and wiggled the connector and the lights come on, so as you said, just needs a bit of soldering - Is the big ! light on the rev dial supposed to light up when the ignition is on?
  12. Which would you class as rest of the lights? On the dial cluster itself i just get the slip control lights and then the lights under the odo - is that right?
  13. Thank you, mine doesnt......... Could explain why i had an issue when i tried to see if there were any fault codes stored- i shall investigate tomorrow! Maybe i forgot to plug something back in when i had the dials out ages ago
  14. Thanks for the input people. Yes they do have an office near-by, but i dont think he's had a chance to get over there yet and suprise suprise the bloke he needs to see isnt there tomorrow..... I was thinking about the alternative accomodation thing too, more whilst the electrics are still dodgy, than when theyre being redone I was also thinking about the ombudsman for letting/estate agencies
  15. Pretty easy question here! Is the engine light supposed to come on when the ignition is turned on, when the rest of the lights come on?
  16. Ye sorry i meant NA-T. It seems to just add more work than is necessary
  17. It always puzzles me why you would spend so much money on an NA/TT conversion. If you are serious about big power wouldnt you buy a TT in the first place?
  18. Thank you. I mean if it was a leaky tap or something it wouldnt be such a problem, but dodgy electrics is pretty serious isnt it - he's worried the place is going to go up in flames
  19. I went to Bansko, Bulgaria last year (not skiing though) but it seemed to be a pretty decent ski resort and the maps of the runs looked pretty impressive, plus Bulgaria is dirt cheap! There's a very nice hotel there too (not cheap tho, infact rather pricey), which is about 100m from the gondolas. Its around a 3 hour taxi journey from Sofia, which was also very reasonable This is the hotel - http://www.kempinski-bansko.com
  20. Just need a bit of advice really and i know you are a clever bunch! My old man lives in a rented house, recently he has had problems with the electrics (the lights switched off when he turned the kettle on!) He rang the letting agency and they sent an electrician out and the wiring has been condemned and the place needs a total rewire. Since then the letting agency wont ring him back and seem to not be bothered about the situation. What ways are there of putting pressure on them to get it sorted? I mean it isnt even their money so i dont see what their problem is- Cheers
  21. Nobody? - Thought it might have been someone on their way to the Ibis or somewhere as it was day before Supra Pod
  22. I thought you could get manual NA aerotops? Just not turbo?
  23. Based on the fact they are the same price from Whifbitz, i'd have been inclined to get them from there. I think eBay should be seen as a last resort for such products, just my opinion though
