  1. 22...mr elephant.co.uk loves me I keep them in business!
  2. Yeah knew Dean was moving didn't know about Martyn We really need a specialist up here
  3. Driving home from a friends on Monday night minding my own business when all of a sudden I had a BMW up my ar*e...I was crusing in the middle lane and he could of gotten past no probs but he decided just to sit up my ar*e for maybe half a mile. Anyway coming off the next roundabout I gunned it up the road and was surprised to see it keeping up. Once the speed got up a bit I started to pull away but I was well surprised with its pace. I drive a BPU supe...not exactly sure on power. It was a BMW Z4 'M' series...don't know much about BMW's but it looked like the kind of top of the range sort. What kind of power are these putting out? Saw one on top gear last night(although may not of been the exact same one) and they said it had the same engine of the M3 CSL.
  4. Get a 1 bar RR and turn it up if need be
  5. The first time I tried it the car wouldn't start so I removed it all and put it back to stock...this is when the problems started happening. A guy from the forum (mrkdsautos) came fitted it for me. It smokes on start up and sounds like its going to cut out. I'm thinking along the line of something to do with the fueling. Although I don't see how this is affecting the revs i.e. before used top start up would sit at 1500rpm and die down to 700ish rpm, now start up struggles to sit at 700rpm then goes up to 1100rpm . Would like someone with a garage whos knows what they're doing to have a look at it If he knows his stuff then could be worth the trip cheers
  6. It's not the turbos spooling mate...sounds more like a supercharger. maybe 0.9bar is all it's going to boost to but I think there must be a leak somewhere
  7. Went for craigsplates...£18 for a front number plate (not any fancy letters) because I needed specific size of plate
  8. Have tried just about everything I can think off but will have another look at intercooler piping
  9. Think I may have a leak somewhere as car makes a high pitched noise when under boost. Car is running BPU at the moment with a 1.2bar RR. It hits about 0.9 bar at full boost. Would a leak cause a significant loss in boost?
  10. Haha it does sound pretty mad. Would rather it wasn't there though.
  11. It'll be 3mm or 4mm Nope...turbo just been replaced...with a good one might I add Think it's at the back right hand side of the engine...you can't see it from the top though. May have to remove other stuff to get to it?
  12. Tried another IACV VSV I had but still making the high pitched noise
  13. Or easiest option would be to get your hand in and removed the sidelight holder without removing light. Passenger side is the more difficult to do as you have the battery in the way...so ift hats done then it should be no probs
  14. Yeah Wheelmania Vortex Evo's
  15. Bought some Dodo Juice Purple Haze the other week and me and a mate gave it a bash. Car has just been detailed so took 30mins to do. Wanted some wax that was for a black car but don't think it was much different to any high quality wax to be honest Anyway took a few pics
  16. The BCC will eliminate fuel cut up until what it has been set for. I'm having problems with my car running sh*t afetr my BCC was fitted incorrectly it's overfuelling like mad. I'm going to take mine to a specialist. Would advise you do the same
  17. Had problems with overfuelling/idling issue since incorrectly fitting my Greddy BCC a while back...note it is fitted correctly now but these issues are still present. There has been a few posts on this http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=183541&highlight=overfuelling http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=172650&highlight=overfuelling Think it may be time for 'someone who knows what they're doing' to sort this problem out. Can anyone recommend somewhere in Scotland?
