Could be that if I let it stop but once it's past 120 deg it runs sweet, would that still happen if the o2 sensor was duff?

Wonder if anyone has any idea on this, my Mk IV TT starts OK, runs at 1000rpm, does this for about 20 30 seconds then dies down to 400 or lower, if i leave it it stalls and won't restart, turns over fine but doesn't fire up. If i do the above and start it, hold the throttle at 1000 and wait till the temp reaches about 120F, then lift off the engine stays at 1000? I don't know if its the temperature or the length of time that's the trigger as if i come off the throttle at 120 deg sometimes it still dips but then goes back to 1000. Once passed this glitch it runs fine. Would the Lambda sensor do this? The cars a K reg if that makes a difference

no to the wheels and suspension, they are tein and works equip wheels, but they were on when I got the car, as I say I'll have to get the geos checked out and the rubber replaced. i'll check the make and post it tomorrow. (apologies stratt, i'm close to hijacking your post )

no but i'm going to, I even checked that the rotation was the right way. in the dry they are predictable but the slightest bit of wet and I'm a ballerina. It'ssome make i've never heard of and can't for the life of me remember, when I had it serviced i asked for them to be replaced and just made sure they were z rated. Dipstick.

Dunno, mine has had the rears replaced a few month ago and now I tip toe round roundabouts if there's any damp. I drove round one at 20 - 25 and it stepped out, OK I wouldn't claim to be the best driver in the world, but I've had n/a and tt sups, skyline gtst and gtr v-spec and never known it like this. (never did on the old tyres) It's wrong when i can go round a roundabout faster in my classic mini than in the sup!

drive down the a22 towards eastbourne till you come to a big f**k off roundabout, It's huge (and has a filter left and two lanes forward as you come to it), go right round it and there's a service station on the left, orrrr go m23, a23, a27 to eastbourne, to a set of traffic lights at a tee junction, the road bears left at the side of these, (eastbourne filter off to the lights), take the left, to a big f**k off roundabout and it's on the left. That's the polegate meet point. Cuckmere, head for the coast road between eastbourne and brighton, if coming from eastbourne, just drive along it. There's a river on the left as you drop downa large hill, you'll go over a single track bridge, pub in front, car park left. From brighton just stick on the coast road and follow it till you go through a town called seaford, you'll see the river to the right as you drop down a large hill, pub and bridge at the bottom. (There's a 90 deg bend onto the bridge and the car park is on the brighton side).

I got divorced so went out and bought a skyline gtr v spec and a TT supra Happy as a pig in sh*t ! (Wrote the skyline off last year but I bought an original mini cooper 997 cc woohoo)

I'm on shift, I do 4 on 4 off, fri to mon this weekend, then the next two week I'll be in on the sunday. Three weeks before I'm onto just weekday working so take pics this time and post them up if you get together on sunday

sods law I didn't see this till today because I went to cumbria for xmas, when's the next?
