  1. As above! Front and ideally rear but rears not essential. Also, if anyone knows of where I might be able to get some please let me know Many Thanks:) Dan
  2. I think that's the one. Looks like they need old units back which is no good! Looks like I need a nice new UK setup! Anyone have one going!?
  3. I'm just wondering if anyone has ever used one of those website that have refurbed calipers and if they're any good? I remember someone posting ages ago about one particular website that sold them at a good price and I can't remember who it was! Any help would be much appreciated. Dan
  4. Daves' workshop is located in Essex area, but he is moving soon but I don't think it's too far away from where he is now. I have PM'd Dave to see if he can take a few pics to put up! Cheers Dan
  5. I have for sale the above mentioned front lip. 100% genuine and expertly repaired after a few collisions with a kerb by our very own Dave Whittle! This is for collection only from Daves' as it's too risky to post. A nice tasteful front lip in 199 silver. Looking for £100 ono but of course welcome to offers! Just a quick pic of it on my car about 4 years ago! More pictures available on request. Gives great lines to the car.
  6. Cheers for all your replies guys! I've bought another unit so we'll see if that sorts the problem!
  7. Thanks for your reply! So is that a fuel pump ECU?
  8. Morning! Anyone else freezing!? I had an issue yesterday with the Supe which resulted in being stuck at the side of the road, not amused! The car basically spluttered once then ground to a halt. We had a look around for any broken pipes/boost leaks etc but nothing. The car started ok then died: clearly a fuelling issue. I had a quick look on the forum yesterday and found a post saying to connect the +B to FP on the diag port in the engine to gain a constant 12v feed to the pump. Did that and hey-presto, she lives! Now my question is, what is my next step? Is it a new ECU all together? Or is there a seperate fuel pump ECU somewhere? Is there something else up? Any help is much appreciated Dan P.S she's an NA-TT 5Speed
  9. Many thanks :-) I'm having trouble finding a decent 500 at the moment but my friend has a mini Titan with all mod cons for a nice price. Do you think it will be ok for me compared to the 500? I'd like something that will be good for a while.
  10. Well, I've finally decided to take the plunge after mulling over it for quite a while! I bought myself a Futaba FF9 transmitter the other day which should be here tomorrow, now I need to find myself a Heli! I'm pretty much set on a Trex 500, the only issue seems to be getting hold of one! I would like something already built with qt the very minimum the stock gyro and servos etc, but ideally with something like the Futaba GY401 unit already on board! Some lipos wouldn't go a miss too! Does anyone have any tips or know anywhere I might be able to get hold of one? I've been trawling eBay and the BMFA.co.uk website for weeks and keep missing out! I'll just have to keep flying my blade mCX and mCX Tandem until I can get one. Cheers Dan
  11. I looked on Camskill for Tyres but they only have car ones! Any help much appreciated
  12. 265/35/18 x2 & 235/40/18 x2 Falken FK452s
  13. I'm still interested in one of these units mate. Just let me know when they're ready! Cheers
  14. I have the diffuser, just fancy the centre dividers and vortex generators off you Paul! What price are we looking at for those bits in carbon?
  15. Is there one? I know you can get the standard webpage on your phone, but some sites have an app version etc. Any plans for this at all?
  16. Brake fluid will be done when the K-Sports go on. Is coolant fluid a yearly thing to change? It must have been done when the new engine went in.
  17. The engine conversion was done jsut over a year ago with all new belts. My thoughts on the pulleys etc is that because there is no 100% confirmed mileage on the engine, i'd rather do it now for peace of mind. Then i know I've got xx,000 miles of (reasonably ) safe driving ahead! I'm adding full service, diff oil and gearbox to that list also.
  18. Well, it's that time of the year where our cars get put away for the horrendous winter period after that lengthy 3-day period of 'The Great British Summer'. I have bought myself an '82 Scirocco for my winter beast (pics to follow) and I'm now looking at what to do over the winter ready for next year! The engine is at about 70,000 miles (had a TT conversion so not entirely sure of exact mileage). It had new belts and fluid when the conversion was done. Here is a list of what I'm thinking of having done: Aux Belt Tensioner Crankshaft Pulley Damper New Belts (may as well) PS Pump (mine is whiney as hell!) K-Sports all round - (Need bigger brakes for BPU) I'm planning on BPU next spring too, so this should all help, my W58 seems to be strong so hopefully it'll hold. Any other suggestions for maintenance at this juncture? ( If CW is reading this, i'm more than likely taking the car to you, so if you have any thoughts ) Cheers:) Dan
  19. I got mibne for free because there were a few issues with my car when I picked it up after a respray. There was a few hours of negotiations and it was decided that I could take the bonnet (which they fitted right there!) and I was off on my merry way back home! Ideally i would have preferred not to have been in that situation but I now have an awesome Top Secret CF bonnet! No complaints from me!
  20. I have this bonnet which Knight Racer gave me for free! I wasn't going to post pictures of my car just yet (it's not finished ) but you get the idea! Fitment is nice, and that price is good too! The only thing i've come across is that I have an HKS SSQV and it does squash up against one of the vents a little bit. But if you have a stock BOV you should have any issues!
