  1. Just been thinking recently about how if I've ever had a problem with my Supra, within around 10 mins I'll have a good response back suggesting solutions (maybe a few witty remarks ). What I'm wondering is where does everybody get there knowledge about the supra....or cars in general from? Did many of you learn just by doing or watching others do? Do you have experience with cars in general? Or maybe there are guides you read which helped you (i.e. manuals). Just a thought, I'm interested to know as I'd like to broaden my knowledge of my car...and well cars in general really. Maybe one day I can give some helpful advice Cheers, Cliff
  2. Where abouts is Matt Based? As I live in South London. Not too keen on a lenghty journey for speaker fitment (especially before my new wheels and tyres go on )
  3. oops.. My apologies 17cm is correct. Thanks Johnny
  4. Hey Guys/Gals. I'm looking for some 17" silver alloys for the supe. I've looked around but thought i'd check on here to see if anyone has any for sale. Let me know the prices you want for them. Cheers, Cliff
  5. I have a similar problem although likewise, it doesn't seem to knock more of a squeaking noise. But I can feel EVERY bump in the road. Change of suspension me thinks?
  6. I know alot of people have upgraded their front speakers to 17" or somewhere along those lines. You need to get a custom bracket for it though. As far as I'm aware 4" is the correct size. I'll be looking to upgrade my front's soon too. (Maybe 4" Pioneer's?) So I'd also like to see what people recommend.
  7. Thanks Guys, I'll give that a check and let you know what my findings are
  8. Ah...that would be the obvious choice. Honestly, no I haven't. Where is the fuse box located please?
  9. Ok, Just fitted new speakers in the back of my car as they were blown (not like anyone sits there anyway). And now, (I'm sure it worked straight after) the clock, and the interior lights do not work. As far as I know (and that's not very far ) the wiring for the clock and interior light are nowhere near the rear of the car. Any suggestions to what it could be guys/gals? (p.s. all buttons for clock and interior lights are now non-responsive, so clicking buttons won't help ) Cheers, Cliff
  10. How much did you pay for the set, if you don't mind me asking bluecoup?
  11. Ah, I love member benefits Cheers Hoff! Nice Rota's btw
  12. any good places and/or brands you can recommend Hoff?
  13. Always worth a try, I'm hoping it's a wheel & tyre combo. That way it's a striaght swap.
  14. Right, So I've finally decided to buy some new wheels/tyres as mine are looking old and corroded (not doing the supra any justice ). Just been looking around at some sites (i.e http://www.wheelbase.com) as they do a wheel and tyre package but I'm not sure if they will supply the right tyre sizes for the supra (225/40/17) for the front (255/40/17) for the back. They haven't replied to my query yet about the sizes but I'd just thought i'd ask on here if anyone knows a place where I can get a good wheel and tyre package? Thanks Any Info would be most appreciative. Cliff

  16. I'm Looking for two good conditioned door cards as the person who had the car before me did not seem to know much about speaker installation etc and messed up things on the door card. So one passenger and one driver's door card. Rough Prices inc. posting etc would be grateful

  18. Drove past whilst I was in the kebab shop looked stock, not sure if it is anyone on here. It was an N reg, was around 8.45pm
  19. I've seen it many a time. They do seem to get carried away there, chsing down a gumball gt2. Guess u'd have to be there. But, that is where the phrase "it's not a race it's a rally" was made 'famous' that was filmed a while back now.
  20. you should be able to, just copy the web address in the top of the browser and paste in here
  21. Indeed, link to this ad please?
  22. Doesn't really make sense. I can just imagine that guy (or girl) waiting at the computer screen for the price to go up so they can buy that car. I agree though his headlights could do with a clean up!
  23. I kind of got that impression from the style of the registration plate (not stereotyping though )
