  1. I cant comment on the older model vettes but i can on the C6 Z06's, they are fantastic fun to drive. Very tail happy with a shit tonne of torque and noise when you push the loud pedal, build quality isnt the best and as expected rather heavy on fuel. They do handle ok aswel.
  2. Christ the nicest sup there is the yellow one!
  3. No swaps, dont need more scrap laying around £15 and there yours, there even heat coated
  4. Dont suppose you offer any uprated clutch for an NA do you chris?
  5. The only NA on record which was built by a individual rather than a company was a guy in the states with a fully built engine, cams higher CR pistons etc and netted about 270 rwhp max. From a performance stand point the GE isnt easy to work with as it was never designed with NA performance in mind.
  6. Not at all, just a wait of money just for 'noise'. I could understand if it was for performance build. Comeon dude think about it, you are willing to pay 2k+, having to have alot of custom work and wiring done then a standalone 1k on its own new plus mapping just for some noise? They would probly work but it will take alot of work to do it properly.
  7. Well in that case good luck but expect to pay the best part of 200-300 for TBs. Its alot of money for little gains, if you want the noise just record it off youtube and play it out loud.
  8. FSR for a fee or im sure someone in the UK could do it providing you can supply the TBs but it will take alot of work and machining etc to do so expect to pay big and thats before the price of injectors to suit and a full standalone. Ive thought about it time and time again and tbh i can do this step later on as i have better things to spend 2k on at the minute.
  9. There not going to net you much at all without some other mods, head porting would help, some wild cams and higher CR pistons would make a difference but your well into 5k there. If your that keen on hearing what they sound like then just watch this over and over. The TBs on this car came from a blacktop 3sge. . VJwjHg5XM58
  10. You havent got any cosworth bits in your engine
  11. You didnt realy expect to see huge increases from TBs did you
  12. See this thread. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=176778
  13. Im currently under lui's tution, lol , so to speak and im doing alright now but it is an incredibly hard diet to live by and by no means cheap. I tend to hit a brick wall at 10.5 stone which is where im at now but im trying to power through it, just hard work and patience. Dont forget to include water, drink lots of it a day.
  14. Cant be bought off the shelf to fit, you need to source some decent ones like M3 TBs and fabricate them to fit then you will need a full standalone to control them so its not cheap
  15. So far in my neck of the woods i count i count atleast 4 directly close by and about 15 i know of in surrounding area's.
  16. Good luck with it mate, nice to another person jumping on the twins bandwagon Ill get there eventualy Subscribed.
  17. A real carbon bonnet, like the modellista designs type, are realy light weight and strong unlike these chavvy looking things you can buy off ebay.
  18. First off let me get this straight, I never said there was a problem bouncing ideas off one and other but comeon let's be realistic here, variable compression on a 2JZ, your into complete engine redesign for such a task with what I'd suspect huge costs involved, that there is a pipe dream. Yes it may come down to how badly you want something much like I want to ITB my car but in my eyes there is a limit. I mean you could spend twice or three times as much as one person and end up with a car no better, yes it maybe unique but what's the point if its no better than a more basic setup. Anyway I aint getting into an argument over ideas so that's basicly my view on things.
  19. If your that serious about it neil then we can have a chat when you get your arse into gear and come down!
  20. Dave has spent more on an NA than toyota did.
