  1. Well boys and girls, im selling my beast of a car, here is a link with a very special price to go with it, only valid for a week! http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/566508.htm
  2. correct sort of! The problem with the Rs6 is that it has 40% drive to the rear and 60% to the front. Its like driving a front wheel drive! I belive on a skyline it is the other way around? Plus the skyline is manual and not this crappy ( in my eyes and Mr Clarksons ) paddle shift. Im sure most people will love it. You can get the back end out in a skyline swinging around. The RS is to stable for me. Fair enough the back end wont step out at 100 but will still give a bit of a challenge on the country roads when pushed. Basicaly i need car that needs a bit of driver effort. I would love to get another supra but after doing a 8 year stretch with one, well i think i have out grown the sup and been spoilt with 4 wheel drive. P.s i say out grown the supra, But would defo have another in track form!
  3. The Mrs wont let me! I would love to but seems im at the stage where nobody has gone past yet. I dont have the money to be the guinnea pig to see how much power a RS6 can take. I love the car to bits. The quality and ride ect is so much better than a supra, BUT the RS6 is not capable of lighting up the rear tyres on the m-way at 100+ and scaring the sh1t out of me all the time. ( priceless in my books ) The Rs6 is really the best car i have ever been in. But for me it is just to easy to drive! Need to get back in the old school!
  4. think you talking about brett. He was racing with me at the pod when i run mine. The car has run 11 but again he had no grip and i think was running about 12.6 the same day as me. Nice car. But on your link it looks like name maybe doug?
  5. is next year due to the sva test or what ever it is with modded r34 cars? Does this test expire after a certain age limit?
  6. dont we all! That is what i would like. But anything that does a 11 and is reliable will do! I know a 11 sec car can be reliable! Fed up of being in the 12s.
  7. Mr Jm, im looking for a skyline next. Maybe a 34 with the computer stuff on the dash. Must be doing at least 550Bhp. You got anything at the right price for me. I need to be seeing a low 11 quarter! 10 would be better but needs to be reliable!
  8. it run a 12.7 at 1c track temp. Put it up against my supra that will run 11 secs but the sup could not get below 13.2 on the same day due to the track being to slippy (ice) . The RS6 was spinning all 4 wheels up to about 60MPH. It will normally not spin the wheels past about 25MPH or in second gear. I would take a guess that with grip it should run a low 12 second run. Dont think it would hit a 11 with the cats removed and another remap. Been promised another 70BHP when the cats are off with another map.
  9. My bad boy Rs is up for sale here http://www.pistonheads.com/SALES/566508.htm Some extra pics here http://s250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/mattysupra/
  10. my supra used to suffer with this. Needed re building every year. The pistons used to always get stuck to. Had to remove them and polish them back up every year. I think my problem that the car only got drove once or twice a month. Anyway i will have a look to see if i still have my old callipers and stuff. Think i threw them away but they might be in a cubard some where at work if your lucky. I will have a look around tomorrow. I will pm you if i can find them but dont hold your breath.
  11. why do you need another one? If it is just seized then you can pull the slider out and clean up then re grease. Or buy a rebuild kit from toyota and do calliper seals at the same time.
  12. Ye got TWO great big intercoolers! Im am also worried about how much power the super charger will take out of the engine. Im hoping to run more boost to compensate for the blower. But there is only so much boost i can stick in the thing on standard parts. Im thinking that if it running at 17psi at the moment then if i give it say 20 psi it should be about the same as having the turbos. Problem is i want more power and as nobody has modded a rs6 yet i dont know how much boost you can stick in the engine on stardard parts. For all i know it might take 30 psi easy or it could be on its limit at 20psi ?
  13. so anyway, any positive feedback on my first post? Do you think my plan will work or not ? Any down sides etc?
  14. Easy, its a advant not estate! I want to keep the rs as the car is the bollox. But i want more power with out spending 30k! And i got the advant ( estate ) as i think they look better than the saloon. Skylines etc are just to basic inside for me.
  15. im liking the first one but i think if i sell my car i will just be able to buy a set of brake pads for it!
  16. If i lost some of the weight it would make a big improvement but i want to keep all the crap it has inside! And im thinking of putting a manual gearbox in and getting rid of the crappy flappy paddle things. Only problem is that i cant find a gearbox that is strong enough that will fit!
  17. ash, maybe a single! but that no good, and yes there is loads of room near the boot. But im not sure about the lag etc with them being 10 feet away from the engine:blink: And then im not sure if there is room for the exhaust and the charge pipes to run through the same gap upto the engine. We will have to see!
  18. o yes it is, but if i showed you the dino at over 500bhp and over 500 ft lb and then said take it out, you would bring it back saying the brakes are stuck on or somebody stole the turbos. Its just not quick enougth! I want faster. Or at least more power to the rear wheels! Still it will still leave a standard supra standing and i would guess any supra below 450 bhp. Apart from in the wet! Then the rs is in its own league:eyebrows:
  19. You really need to see the engine to suggest a single! For one its a V8 and it has a turbo for each side of the engine! Anyway, im on redstone, top of gospal way. 3 doors from the off licence:eyebrows: Your near the dogs are you not?
