  1. Excellent can't wait to see her finished Stephen :-)
  2. After I get NOS's Supra featured the week after next I'll PM owners on here to see if your still interested. Stephen that'll give you a good few weeks to get yours finished. In the meantime you can email spec, and a bit of history of your car and future plans etc.
  3. Yeah Mark was think about Carlo's TRD she's amazing looking. Depends on how many Supra owners contact me. I'd love to feature one every week but couldn't get away with it. NOS has already gave me pics and details so he will be in the week after next as I have Fiesta this week, then a M3 the week after. Just so I don't confuse anyone here is the general space I allocate to Reader's Cars, it's not that big. Would love to give more space but I have my orders LOL. I'm thinking of starting an online motoring mag featuring everything I do in my column but only in loads more detail so something like Reader's Cars could be a proper mag style 2-page spread feature. it's just an idea as I don't know how long I can keep doing so many jobs. I'm going grey at an alarming rate. Anyway see below for this week's column and Ford Fiesta ST in Reader's cars
  4. It must be at least a week since I had a Supra in my column and you may remember a while ago I was running a wee feature called Reader's Cars. Well I've brought it back as I have more room since our sponsor and advert dropped out until September so if anybody would like to have their Supra featured let me know. This is open to all cars so Gavin your Lexus is more than welcome and anybody else with a car/jeep/ etc of interest. Email me on [email protected] with a description of your cars age, how long you've had, is it your first Supra, modifications, BHP, future mods and anything else that might be of interest to my readers. Jamie and Ernie as your Supras have so much spec between them I might not have the room to get all the details in the space so maybe I could do a spread featuring both your cars sometime. I'm sure I'd not be lying to say your Supras are two of the finest in Ireland.. (I'm not trying to upset an owners on here) But if either of you are happy enough for a wee write up (see Friday's paper for size of Reader's Cars feature) then by all means email me details. thanks Daz
  5. I've been plugging this in my weekly Daily Mirror motoring column. It's out today Friday, any other updates or info let me know via here or [email protected] or [email protected]
  6. Thanks everyone. It makes this job all the more easy when I can write stories and run pix of Supras. Yes I write my own headlines too. Not my strong point I'm really just a designer, I struggle to spell properly LOL but I find the design aspect of the job easy. Any suugestions for a headline for next year's Supra, Skyline greatly recieved. If anybody would like a decent print-out of the spread I can post them to you as I won't be able to get my hands on anymore copies of the paper as I have been off all week. I will up load all the pix it took some point soon too, again if anyone see a pix of their car I'll email them to you as well. I'll also get around to answering PM's as soon as I get a free minute.
  7. Hey guys, sorry I've been up at my caravan for the last few days so didn't have access to computer. Just wanted to say I had a great day, really nice to meet everyone. Just annoyed that I couldn't get on Sat or Sun morning. Anyway I've been in work today and here is what will be in the paper tomorrow. I've been off all week on hols so the spread is a bit rushed but hopefully I got all the details correct and sorry if I didnt have room to get a pix of your car in. I tried to squeeze in everyones but I'm sure I missed some.
  8. Has this helicopter got a 2JZ or a RB26 engine in it?
  9. I'm waiting for you to get your new rims on the I'll stick a pick of yours from Bishopscourt opn Sunday :-)
  10. thought you might like Darragh :-)
  11. Not sure if I can make the rolling road day as looks like I have to work even though I had the week off. It's a long story but the Sunday Mirror (my full time job) and the Daily Mirror have amalgamated into one company. I was the only Sunday Mirror person not to be made redundant so I can't complain. Anyway if I can't make Sunday hopefully someone can take a few pix of cars on the rollers then I'll see you all at Bishopscourt. I'm not racing down the strip as my car is still going funny (spluttering and missing) after my FPR packed up. I have a new Turbosmart FPR fitted and getting new fuel filter fitted on Tues so hopefully that will clear up the problem or I might need a tow to Bishopscourt LOL
  12. No probs Mark, will give it another hit next week just before the event then hopefully the lead story the next week. Not sure if I can make it to the rolling road day now as I might have to work :-( but deffo going to Bishopscourt.
  13. Here is my Daily Mirror motoring spread that features the N.I Jap show in Junction One. One or two Supra pix, me biased to Toyota's... never LOL

  16. Junction One in Antrim, it's the massive shopping complex, you've probably drove past it loads of times, here is a link to their website with details of how to find it: http://www.junctionone.co.uk/location.asp Failing that just get up on Sunday lunchtime and drive round Banbridge until you see Japanese car convoy then follow them.
  17. Anyone going to the N.I. Jap show on Junction One, June 20 (Father's day) Darragh has spoken to the organiser Dee who has allocated 10+ spaces for Supras so would be good to have a nice show of Supes on the day. 18. Sure thing Mark now that sideways-recing.com had produced a flyer and have it on their website too I'll defo be giving it another hiton the run up to the event. It would be rude of me not too or I'll get booted off this site if I don't LOL
  19. No worries, it means I have one less job to do interviewing him about his company. I can always talk to one of the guys at which ever rolling road I go to to see if they'd like a feature done sometime in the future. Which car are you bringing out of curiosity or will it be another double whammy?
  20. pink must be the new red. Ernie is Dimitri still coming over? I have new clutch already fitted and bedded in plis I'm getting the Emanage Ultimate and HKS DLI wired in next week so my NA-Turbo should be ready for decent map, at last.
