  1. Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-cat, liberate those horses !!!!!! .
  2. Me too, his closing comment was way O.T.T . Sure there are some reckless bikers out there but they usually teach themselfs a lesson pretty quickley and wisen up. Evey time I'm out on the roads on my bike I see so many examples of truely appalling driving more often than not caused by people just not concentrating (fannying around with phones, steroes, applying make up, unwrapping food whatever), the one that really annoys me is when there's kids in the car not seated properly with a belt on, I shudder to think what would happen to them in an accident, so irrisponsible.
  3. Probably closer to 3.2 than 5.2 !!. If you're still after insurance try these guys http://www.insuremce.com , afer a two year lay off they gave me the cheapest quote on my K5 by nearly £100, have a good ring round and then give 'em a call. Enjoy .
  4. Sorry to say that I won't be showing up tonight, Supra still off the road and I really don't fancy going down on my K5 1000. Only met Mcanny before and it would've been good to meet a few more fellow Supra owners, hope that those of you that do make it have a good time and I'll be there next time (car / weather permitting) for sure, enjoy.
  5. The fact that it's the 12th may be the problem. Last minute really does / can mean just that. You stand a far better chance of getting a cracking deal with 24 / 48hrs to go than with a week. Twice now I've had great deals (both from teletext too) but each time I've had to go within 48hrs.
  6. Was booked in for Fri / Sat and Sun untill dozy woman realised she'd arranged to go to a party on the Friday night, doh !!!. Friday tickets sold on fleabay no problem so decided to make it a proper w'end away by flying down, booking into a nice hotel in Worthing overlooking the sea and not coming back till Monday. Sweet, can't wait
  7. Like Need4 says they do have the logo on them but most people just choose to live with it. Personally I've got pretty tired of people asking me why I have Lexus wheels on my Toyaota so soon I'll be filling and re-coating mine.
  8. Great pics and write up. I NEEEEEEEEEED a Zonda
  9. I second that. It was what happened when mine went.
  10. To anyone that's in any doubt this is a great meeting place, I sometimes go there on my bike (K5 Gixxer thou) and some of the surrounding roads are tops. Interesting that they've given you a Tuesday spot though as I was there just last Tuesday (on bike) and the car park was pretty near full.

    New body kit

    Nice and subtle, I like
  12. Gutted really wanted to go for the Friday after hearing that it's pretty crazy on the Sat / Sun. This explaons why I'm not now :thumbdown http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6539703127&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&rd=1
  13. I can't guarantee that I'll be able to get video footage but for sure I'll be taking plenty of pic's if they're of any interest to you. Can't wait to see it myself .
  14. I take it you've not been to Keighley then .
  15. Bugger !, I was really looking fwd to you getting these and seeing what they were like too
  16. Just spoken to the gut that did mine a few months ago and whilst the nut is quite tricky to get off due to space limitations the hardest bit by far was removing the pully which had seized on. As mentioned earlier do not be tempted to use heat as this can easilly damage the oil seal that sits buhind it.
  17. To be honest if I remember rightly when I got them done by Turbo Technics, (reason for being a well established and well respected builder of Turbos and not just a middleman reselling God knows what !!) there was only the one stage (not stage one of three if you get what I mean) available, that was fine by me.
  18. I'm afraid I've not had the car on a dyno but would estimate somewhere around 380-400hp. At the time I had them fitted I also had a full de-cat and started running 1.1bar so it's hard for me to seperate the performance gain that they individually gave, however Chris Wilson's briefly driven the car at the time and commented that it felt "strong", I think it's probably fair to he's driven enough Supras to know what he's on about. The cars having some (non turbo related) work done on it in the next week or so but after that you're more than welcome to have a go in it as personally I (and plenty of passengers) think it's pretty impressive. Mcanny had a go in it and posted his comments here http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=17273&highlight=womble Hope this helps, if you have any more questions or if you fancy a meet up feel free to ask. Oh and I too would like to one day go single (purely in the quest for aroun 500hp) but whilst there seems (to me anyway) to be an awful lot of debate about reliable fueling feel it's best left for the moment.
  19. I can confirm this, my Uk runs hybrids with no problems and everything fueling wise (pump included) is standard.
  20. Hello and welcome. Not sure how close to Chris Wilson you are but neither I or many others on here can recommend him highly enough. I'd give him a call if I were you (his contact details are in his signiture) as not only will he do a good job of servicing the car but I'm sure if you ask him nicely then time permitting he'll have a good look over it for you too. Many people on here travel fair distances to see him which says alot.
  21. The outer ring came off mine and judging by the state of it when I discovered it upon my undertray (imagine my shock / perplexment !!) it had been off for quite a while, the belt had worn groves into the rubber of the remaining inner, how it didn't come off when the inner shed the outer I'll never know
  22. Get it changed now !!. Faulty / damaged suspension on ANY car should be sorted ASAP, a leaking shock will effect ride quality, handling / stability and braking too. If I remember rightly when I needed a new front shock a few years back it was only about £80, surely for that kind of money it's really not worth leaving.
  23. Bugger, I'm just down the road in Leeds and missed it, oh well next time maybe. Gaz, what time did you manage to do ?.
