  1. When I bought my car a month or so back, it came with the Supra Pure Sport floor mats, but the retaining clip on the drivers mat is missing. It's clearly been there in the past, but there's just a hole left in the carpet where the clip obviously used to be. Any ideas where I can get a new one? Had a little look about but all I can find is universal clips on eBay which I'd like to try and avoid if at all possible.
  2. Haven't had the chance to get the wheels off with work and weather as it is, but after driving the car today and listening to this noise some more, I'm convinced it's a binding front brake. It's not excessively warm after driving so it's obviously only slight, but I think if I free up any sticky pistons and copper grease the back of the pads all round then that'll be problem solved. The rears squeal under light braking too so I just suspect badly (recently) fitted pads.
  3. Cheers guys. I'll give all of the above a look over at the next chance I get. Will post anything I find here!
  4. Here's a video: http://youtu.be/cz7x9NfYTNY
  5. Sorry, that wasn't explained very well was it! Haha. Gets louder as MANOEUVRING speed increases. But then again, to be fair, I've never driven round in a left circle at 30mph so may still be there! Just as you pull away left it does it, as soon as you start to straighten the steering up it goes away. Pad could be a good shout. One I had considered but as the noise doesn't go away if you press the brake I discounted it. I took a very short video pulling out of my car park at home this morning, I'll upload it and post a link.
  6. I shall check all of the above. Can't imagine it's pump related as makes no difference if your applying pressure to the wheel. It's purely forward movement that brings it on. Speed related too. The faster you move, the louder it gets.
  7. My Jspec NA auto has a strange noise occurring only when moving forward at manoeuvring speed whilst turning left. It's a loud humming noise coming from the front that can only be described as like feedback when a microphone is placed in front of a speaker. Only happens when moving forward, on varying degrees of left lock (from around 1/4 to full lock) brakes on or off. I've not had the car up in the air for a look yet, but thought I'd pose the question first. A search hasn't shed any light. Any suggestions gratefully received.
  8. Arrived and fitted! They're spot on too!! First HID kit I've ever used that has a proper plug and play connector to the vehicle harness as well. All other kits I've used in the past just have spade connectors that push into the original connector! Great beam pattern and light output, so much better than the crappy stock bulbs!
  9. I will do once the weather improves and I get a chance. I meant to do a before and after video, but never got round to the before either!!
  10. Oh, didn't spot that! Too busy admiring the pipe work! Haha
  11. Well, I've just picked the car up from having the boxes removed! (Sorry Scott, couldn't wait! Haha) Really happy! It's not QUITE as loud as I'd expected, but I'm more than happy! Just a nice, 6cyl note. No drone at all. I'm also very happy with the way it's been done too! It was dark and pissing down when I collected it so only managed to duck my head under the car, but they said I could go back on Saturday to get the car back on a ramp to inspect the work if I wanted.
  12. I've just ordered them!! Decided to hell with it and had a go at eBay jobbies!! They get good reviews and we're less than Osram Nightbreakers!! AND free delivery. If they're poo or don't last then it's lesson learned and HIDS4U to the rescue! Haha.
  13. Cool, thanks for all the helpful comments. 4300k HB4 it is then!!
  14. To be fair, there's always going to be mixed views on HIDs. I agree 100% with you when it comes to HIDs fitted into reflector lamps. Terrible beam pattern (if any!) and very dazzling. I've been guilty of this and never again! Different story all together though in projector lamps like ours! My last Supra had PERFECT beam patterns. The cut offs and kick ups were spot on! No glare or dazzle at all either!
  15. Thank you. Not be going mad as most money will be going into the house. I like the way the stock exhaust looks and it's polished up really nicely. It's booked into an exhaust shop on Tuesday to have the two centre boxes removed for a slightly more throaty note. May lower it just a touch in the near future and that'll just about do me!
  16. A few weeks ago, I picked up a real nice Jspec NA auto. Some might see it as a bit if a step backwards as my last Supra was a facelift TT6. I sold that to clear debts to save for a mortgage deposit. Now that's saved and an offer accepted I just had to get back in a Supra!! I have to say, I actually think this is a much nicer car to drive over the heavy, agricultural 6 speed. Sooo silky smooth. Just lacking the TT rush, but still no slouch! Finally a nice day today, so washed her and got a coat of protection on the paint. Needs a lot of corrective detailing, but I'll wait until I'm in my house with a garage to do that! Here's a few photos.
  17. 6000k are too blue IMO. I used to use them, but when I changed to 4300k, the difference in actual usable light output onto the road was immense. So, do I buy HB3 bulbs? I seem to remember having to buy HB4 and then modify the bulbs to fit my facelift plastic lights!?
  18. Cool, HIDs it is then! I remember having a few issues with getting the correct fitment when fitting them to my facelift headlights. What do I need to do on UK headlights? Is an HB3 kit plug & play fit? Also, the kit I would use would be the HIDS4U kit. They're fantastic quality but slightly pricier. I've used the cheap eBay ones on several cars in the past without issue, the HIDS4U kit is definitely a cut above the rest though and worth the extra IMHO.
  19. My Jspec Supra has UK headlights fitted and the light output is, well...shocking!! I had 4300k HIDs in my last Supra, but in my Volvo I have upgraded halogens (Osram Nightbreaker Unlimited) The HB3 Osrams are around £35. HID about £75. Would like people opinions / experience of the best route to go. Upgraded halogens tend to have a shorter than usual lifespan, so two sets of them is equal to a set of HIDs anyway.
  20. These threads will always get a massively varied amount of answers. All down to personal choice at the end of the day. My 10p worth would be Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetric 2. They are my new favourite tyre over the now discontinued ContiSport Contact 3.
  21. Ah, good to hear! Wasn't talking from experience, just what is read. Thanks for clarifying.
  22. Thanks mate, drop me a PM as / when you're ready.
  23. Cool! Can you give me 1st refusal on it? Definitely up for that!
