  1. Hi Everybody, Does anybody know roughly what the current scrap price is for a whole car? I've got a couple I need to get rid of.. Cheers, Mark.
  2. I don't think I will be, I'm absolutely skint at the moment due to no job, can't even put petrol in the car to drive the 1 mile to my girlfriends house
  3. Oh no Definitely getting rid of her then Dick?
  4. 128k miles on my UK spec Supra, got a Peugeot 405 with 180k miles on it (diesel) and a Mondeo TDCi with 165k on it. Supra is still running stock engine and turbos, never been apart. It's had three clutches though
  5. Good read and a great little car I've been in it and it's lots of fun, even made me think about getting one!
  6. I saw a Toyota the other day with wheels that looked exactly like the Supra, can't remember but I think it was something like an Emina/Estima barge.. Maybe off something like that and somebody assumed they were Supra as they looked the same?
  7. I wondered where you were off to last night Saw you driving up through Silverhill..
  8. UK manual in red here on about 128k now. There's also one up the road, UK auto in red looked after by a members father-in-law. He doesn't post very often though.
  9. Just got an offer on Thursday. Taken that long though, it's not good out there still.
  10. Nope not at Apaseal any more, they made me redundant abour 3 months ago.
  11. About 12.45 today, parked outside the shop with the roof out. Anybody on here?
  12. Hi, I'm afraid the whole lot is now sold. Can you dye the leather anyway?
  13. This is now sold pending collection, thanks.
  14. Hmm, just had another look at the ECU pinouts for the UK/US car, the SP1 wire is on the E10 loom (the single plug on the ECU) whereas SP2 has a positive and negative connection and is in the E9 loom (the double plug with a bolt on the ECU).
  15. Which wire would that be though? I tought the SP1 that I had tapped in to was from going in to the ECU? Is there another that I should have tapped in to?
  16. You must have all been out last night, was very busy for Supras! There were two silver ones in Macdonalds car park on Lottbridge Drove, a black one somehere else in Eastbourne (not Andrew though) and then saw a red one with WOW on the numberplate in Tesco underground car park in St Leonards! Never seen so many in one day!
  17. That's a shame. Luckily mine is well used or various outputs, so it would be nice to have this coming out too.
  18. Thanks Mike, it may well do. If I don't get anywhere with the ECU speed signal then I'll try this, but I've got a fields harness which is nice, easy and clean to tap in to rather than taking the dash off and splicing in across there. I wonder if I've taken the signal from the wrong place as the guys earlier in this thread mentioned that at some point the signal gets changed from one type to another.
  19. Just resurrect this quickly, I'm trying to get my LMA-3 to log speed from the car. I've got it wired in to SP1 from the main ECM loom but getting differing results, none of which are correct. I think I've messed up the settings on the channel, but not sure. Is there anything else I need to check or change to make it read correctly? Cheers
  20. The whole set up, manifold, turbos, y-pipe, downpipe. Big job and not really worth it. UK turbos are laggier though will survive higher boost for longer. What's the issue?
  21. Cheers Andrew, Operator's are generally considered semi-techie though whereas users are more 'the unwashed many' lol.. Cheers for the good luck wishes
  22. Ah thanks ozz, obviously being local authority they use and specifically mention ITIL. It's not something I know very well yet, but obviously carries it's own terminology.
