  1. Sounds good mate Ill be getting there about 12 ish. Ive got some friends as travel buddies aswell to ease the boredom of the train. Infact they "offered" to come along with me just to be the 1st people in it with me Thanks for the advice about the drive. Jurgen did actually say it was a bit of an animal so not going to do anything silly in it, I've waited far too long for it to wreck it on the way home
  2. Can't wait. Just booked my train ticket. Going up to Newcastle to pick up the supra from Jurgen. Then its a nice 100 mile drive back Look forward to seeing some of you at the shows in it next year.
  3. every single one of them sounds great
  4. I saw a nice yellow one on autotrader not long ago, tt auto iirc. oh and

    Hello all

    Hey pal, nice cars
  6. Im selling an s2 cabriolet at the moment. As you say the most common conversion is to use the floor pan and running gear of the sierra cosworth. Would be interesting to see something different. Probably cost a fair bit though! Tell him to buy a supra instead
  7. Its a T88 was told by Jurgen its running about 600. Had a couple of mr2's and a saph cosworth before (not quite as powerfull as that though lol). I understand peoples concerns about inexpirienced drivers buying big power RWD cars and hurtin themselves and others. Its not a car Ill be d**king around in cost too much for that
  8. Well Ive been looking for a month or so for a nice single supra. Got chatting to Jurgen and have decided to get him to import one from Japan (saves me buying a sh**er and regreting it). Just confirmed it with him this morning (nice bloke). Only a few pictures of it but its exactly the look that i want Ill get full spec up shortly Just have to wait for it to come now ill just have to pretend my diesel escort work van is a 3.0l turbo lol:eyebrows:
  9. How much are you looking for them? Pm if its within my budget please. Sorry to keep posting so many questions in a wanted thread but do you guys advise buying a single manual or possibly going with a cheaper single auto and having it converted?
  10. Probably best to go for a single then. What sort of standalone is the best. Seen F-con gold and aem around quite alot. I only live 2 seconds from Hyper Sports and Racing, think they have program most.
  11. Hey Jurgen would be very interested to see what you could find. Can you poss pm me with anything that might fit the bill. Quite like the modded look rather than stock. Waiting isnt really an issue for the right car Thanks
  12. Hey mate yes been doing my homework, should have said hybrids really. Tbh would like a nice single just thought i'd try to broaden my search. Not really to bothered about vvti, would rather a well built older one that looked nice
  13. Im looking to buy a well modded twin or single manual. Looking for about 500+hp if possible. Any colour etc. Have about 15k to play with. Is this realistic? Ive noticed prices starting to fall recently so thought i'd start my search.
  14. Hi, my names Add, been a bit of a silent member for the past couple of months. Thought i'd bite the bullet and pay for my year. Looking to get a supra in the next few weeks. Got the money sitting in the bank, the other half has already started talking about a new kitchen and double glazing so need to find one asap Hope to come to the next local meet when I get one Cheers
  15. Thanks everyone. Says the gearbox conversion and single conversion were both done at Staplehay Autos. Its the fueling issue that I wanted a bit of advice on. I take it that having such a big turbo makes it very easy to run lean?
  16. I doubt it will meet the reserve tbh. Its up for £12.5k on the other site. Ive emailed him a few times he has done all the conversions at a garage in sommerset. Just wanted to know that it wouldnt blow up on the way home
  17. interested in this supra on pistonheads and ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=110249044060&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=001 Just a few questions for you guys. With it being a single still running on standard ecu could this be harmfull to engine etc? F-con ecu comes with car but isnt actually fitted. Considering I would probably want around 500 - 550 hp would this turbo be too big / slow to spool. It seems that everything is there just needs a few finishing touches at a reasonable price for a single manual. Any opinions would be gratefull, Thanks
  18. Cheers guys, bpu guide was very informative
