Well i'm at a loose end at the moment... I've sold the ultima :-( and had to put some money into a new house i'm buying. Only thing is, what do i buy now.... I've got a budget of up to about 13.5k. I've had a few cars with "some" grunt so i'd like something that still has plenty of power. -i know i should be buying a nice single Supra, but i still miss my old one and i think it would be just a replacement and i wouldn't like it. Does anyone know what i'm suppose to do/how long it takes, to remove a private number plate from a car? I've just sold the Ultima :-( to someone abroad, but i'd ideally like to keep the plate, just wondering how i go about it and how long it takes. I'd ideally like to do it before he collects the car. Just wondering if any of you know where i can get a nicely designed computer desk or complete study setup that looks all nice and modern.. I've had a quick look around but not spotted anything so far that i like the look of. suggestions/pics/price on a postcard...

there will be about 20 of us.. We went to Vegas in September last year for my freinds stag, and mine again in March. Last year went to Ibiza as well for another... Not sure what they are popping in the water in Essex, but us men are dropping like flies!

Right, we've done Vegas, Ibiza and other places, but my latest trip im having to arrange has to be "different".... I've been told it can be no further than 3 hours flight, and has to be relativly cheap. I'm the only one who's allowed to know where we are going up to the point when we get on the plane.. Obviously we want there to be a nice selection of bars and other bits to do.... I was thinking Riga, Poland or Gothenberg..But the later two look fairly pricey for beer etc... So suggestions on a postcode,..... Ideally somewhere thats completely different. Lets hear your thoughts..

Yeah - fuel gauge is fine. As it has two tanks (one each side for weight distribution), the gauge you can switch between them to check how much fuel is left - in this case i'd just filled up and left the switch in the neutrel position. :-) It's a nice night tonight.. So i'll be buzzing round Chelmsford in it, trying to get some video's...

Well, i've had my fun in it and now i've got 3 car's i've been told i've got to sell one before we move house. Tax'd and MOT'd till October although i don't like driving it much over 50mph as it can be a little "edgy" with the tyres and the shackles (it tram lines something rotten) and the steering/brakes are what i can only describe as "Challenging" although all SJ's i've been told are the same. Some patches of small surface rust and various battle scar's but a great laugh off-road, thats also good for pondering round town and driving over roundabouts.. er... 8 years.... kind of ;-) I spent my wedding night on the Bathroom floor... think i was woken up by her around 6am.... Doh.

It was great... Got married in Woodbridge, Suffolk (Took the Ultima :-) ) Went to Borneo for 2 1/2 weeks. spent 6 nights in the Shangri-la Rasa Ria, then 2 nights doing Turtle Island and the Orangutan Sanctuary, then spent 7 nights in the Shangri-La Tangung Aru, before flying home. I found the food a bit weird.. Having Chicken/Beef satay/Rice/noodles/curry for breakfast was odd... yeah, the place has all sorts dumped in it.. It's basically a large lake with everything roped together. It's a little eerie not knowing where you are, but once you get use to it it's ok. You pay £10 to get in, and the instructor did the rest for me...

I've just completed my Padi open water course. Had to do 3 weeks in a pool, and then last weekend i did 5 open water dives in a lake in Peterburough. Visibilty was rubbish, i could only see the instructor and that was pretty much it. Very dark, had no idea on depth/where i was going etc, other than my dive watch. Water was a nice cool 11 degrees. I managed to get down to 13.6meters before i stumbled head on to a double decker bus, and i found a plane and a pool table to have a quick play on as well, whilst i did a decompression stop. I had a slight panic on when i was surfacing from about 6 meters and kept on getting nose bleeds - but was told this was because i was having trouble with my ears and it does on occasion happen. Only problem i've got now, is my ears are all blocked and i'm partially deaf! No pain, but it's just like having a cold and being clogged up. Going to the doc's tomomrrow for a quick check as it's winding me up.. So now i'm all set for Borneo :-)

/\ yeah - the old seats made me sit way to high and look like noddy.. I've since got the original ultima seats now, so i'm about 6" lower and no longer part of the roll cage :-) The Suzuki Samurai i bought as a run around, but i think it's actually scarier than the ultima.. It sways all over the road at 50mph, and it's steering is just wrong.. And don't even start me on the brakes.... But other than that, off road it's so much fun...

Looking for £175 for it.. Not mine.. the wife's.. Can't be sure if it's unlocked as it was an upgrade on T-Mobile for her. Brand new, just taken out the box and checked - comes with additional facia's. She doesn't like it and prefer's her stupid Pink Samsung thing, hence the reason for selling. It's sold on Ebay twice now, to some nice Nigerian's wanting to send it to there Sisters, brother-in-law's daughter, who will pay for it via a paypal and send me more money afterwards. I'll make sure i'll bring back some pics :-) I'm going to the north island for 6 days, then to the orangutang sanctuary in the south of the island for two days, then going to the west of the island for another 6 days... Can't wait :-)

I've just booked up my honeymoon ;-) yay. Starting my divng course tonight as well, as i've heard that's one of the things to do whilst your out there. I've always fancied diving but never bumped up the courage to just do it. So now i don't have an excuse, i'm going for it. Should hopefully have my Padi in a month or so :-) can't wait..

I'm looking for something to have a little fun in as a second car to my Ultima, so i'm stuck on the idea of a Suzuki SJ, as they are cheap as chips and are suppose to be easy to repair. I don't know anything about off-roading, or anywhere i could go in Chelmsford/Essex, but it looks fun. I looked at an SJ yesterday which had big wheels /seats/rollcage, but also stunk of petrol by the fuel tank and was covered in rust. For £1250, i decided against it.. It's only a 1.3 and power is, well......about as much as the car battery is pushing out on my ultima, but i know it's not going to be fast.
