Hi all. Ive got a set of 18" Bk racing alloys on standard suspension (93 N/a). Im abit worried because i dont really know what the tyre pressure should be like and at £100 per tyre i dont want them rubbing down quickly. Currently they're about 35 psi but the still seem to be squashing down. They were at 40 psi when i bought the car but a mechanic friend kept telling me they were over filled with air! Any recomendations?

I really liked the " I think it's been chipped up coz it feels exciting to drive" bit... He says he's had a few in the past but he doesnt even know what tuning has been done to the engine. Also i wonder why those wide arches have been put on but not sprayed up.. Possible rot or dents etc? You decide!

Good point. If you're doing music editing i'd suggest getting a seperate Sound card. Quality is usually higher an a Pci Card rather than onboard although i use onboard and i edit music and dont see a huge diference in quality but its just a thought!

He's right it would be cheaper but theres advantages and disavantages to both Cpu's so stick with Intel they tend to be more reliable. (Im not saying that because im an Intel partner even though i am its just the honest truth). Amd tend to be better for games but the new Core Duo's piss all over them with their high Cache. (4mb - 8mb are good chips)!!!

Ive just taken out my drivers seat as well. I also wondered what the cable was but when i realised it went to the seatbelt clip i realised it was the tensioner! Oh i also need a drivers electric seat if anyones got 1?

Have you got breakdown cover? Most of them will replace a windscreen for £50. And if you havent got it it'll only cost you about £40 so you'll get a yrs breakdown cover for the same price as a new screen!!!

Thankyou. They're Bk racing alloys which suprised me because when i saw the picture on Autotrader they looked abit more of an exotic make like Axis! I bought it from an Import Garage in Wales, it was along trek but it was worth it!

The last posts are correct. If you dont declare something that shouldnt be on the car as standard then you're lying which makes your insurance invalid. If you have an accident the insurance company will probably tell u to f**k off basically! Its not their problem if you didnt declare that New turbo or alloys and it saves them money by not paying out.

Hi all. Ive posted a few times already but thought id introduce myself propely. Im David, im 21 living in Sunny Weymouth in dorset on the coast. Im driving a 1993 N/a which i love to bits. I bought her from a garage in Wales for a really good price. She has 60k, and paintwork is excellent with only 2 dents that i can see. Heres a pic.... Sorry i didnt clean her! As a volunteer Police Officer i get given them every so often. Its good to keep up to date with new laws and things that are changing within the service! And yes Police and some PCSO'S have the power to call insurance companies to declare modifications that they believe arent insured. Bit harsh to be honest. Hope they dont look at my car lol

Lol ive just read an article in a police magazine at work and it had a section on Manchester Police (i think) talking about their powers to report people with Modifications to their insurance companies. There were 2 cars being shown off with the police checking the cars over and one was a black Supra. Looked like it had BBS rims, lowered, skirts and front splitter. The point i just wrote into the magazine was to say that they pointed out how the Supra Spoiler Was a massive aftermarket spoiler... Umm no its standard. I wish they'd research this before printing it. How silly are they going to look when they have to apologise!

Yep really chuffed. Spent 45 mins in a pit checking everything and came to the conclusion that theres something wrong with the gearbox seen as all the noise comes from within the box. luckily i have a warranty with the car so ill be taking it in next week i thinks! How much do Rebuilt Gearboxs (Manual) Cost roughly? Thanx

Hi all. Recently my n/a has been taking a while to turn over. It used to take 2 turns to start the engine but now its like 5 - 6. It also seems to take longer if i dont blip the acellerator when i turn the key. Is there anything i can chack or replace to help it out?
