Very nice motor you had I think its the look of the car which i prefer about the R33. i'l see though as nothings in stone yet. i'm just a bit put off by the front bumper of the r32, and the rear lights look like they are stuck on. see what i can find
-
as opposed to an R33 or an Orange Supra ive heard the R32 is more of a "drivers" car if that makes any sense
-
Ok cheers, just when i looked at the performance stats the r33 was quicker. r33 prices seem to be more expensive but i have seen quite a few r32's going for similar money, mainly modified though. how does the r32 drive like?
-
Ok my next car looks like a Skyline GTR. The problem is i'm a bit caught up between models. I like the look of the R33 GTR and obviously its newer, more reliable and quicker standard than an R32 GTR. I'm trying to find out how R32's compare as they are a few k cheaper than an R33. Anyone owned one who could give me any advice
-
I really hope its better than the others. looks good though and i'm sure i spotted a black supe in there somewhere...
-
sorry mate i must have missheard you. i thought you meant that it was a custom setup, not custom made. well, a few hundred knocked off now then lol. by the way paul, those tein shocks you took off my car, are they front or back ones? also were there any problems with them as i was going to sell them if they were ok. cheers

I prob need to look a bit into the value a bit more. If i find out what its worth in next few days i'l decide if ebays the way forward the right move. Otherwise i'l just advertise it on ere first, feel a bit guilty to the club if i dont lol
-
Well the idea was to advertise it on here and link it to the ebay listing once i get it on there so everyone on ere has a chance to know about it. people might want to use the kit, or parts of it on other cars, thats why i want to put it on ebay so more than just supra owners look. nothing personal to any of you but i need as much ££££ as possible for it. Ive been told by a few people i know (mainly skyline owners ) that its worth a N/A value so that might help lol
-
No i'm not selling on ere as i'm not being held responsible for a bust up between members adding a pound every hour and me having to respond to a thousand PM's LOL eBay is my best option, as not to sound greedy, but i really need as much cash as possible right now so limiting it to only here won't do me much good. sorry if that seems a bit harsh and unfair but i need as much attention as possible.

Strange. Paul told me the kit was pretty much all HKS. Maybe parts of other kits or a custom job possibly. Either way it fits an N/A so at least it works

Ok ive just had Whifbitz take off my single turbo kit and i plan to sell it soon on Ebay so i'l post up a link when i put it on there. Also i need to find out how much it will cost to post... as its a lot of stuff. Now Paul at Whifbitz says this kit is in top form except the actual HKS mushroom filter which is a bit knackered, and there is a small crack in the manifold which i was told is an easy straight forward job to repair. The intercooler is a Blitz one but every other part is HKS. I'm not exactly sure what some parts are but all of them were used when running a single so no other parts will need to be bought (except new mapping equipment AFR etc). As far as i know the turbo is a HKS T04R capable of running up to around 600bhp if setup correctly. Checked the turbo and has no rattles or problems with the turbine/fins moving. Also looks like it has the downpipe included as well. Just had all the kit steam cleaned and washed etc, and apart from a few bits of surface rust it all looks ok considering its been in the car a long time. Also comes with bigger injectors (as seen in pics) which are in good working order. Remember this kit came off my 5speed N/A Car, not a TT. I will try and answer questions about this kit but i'm not very good identifing these kind of things lol. I am not pricing it on here as there are too many people interested and i'd prefer to keep bidding to ebay thankyou See pics for an idea of what is supplied: Also my Supra will be up for sale soon

I had my Integra Type R when i was 21 and that is one quick car and incredibly forgiving when you thrash it as the handling is prob the best fwd car ever made. I went to a turbo supe and its just in a completely different league! not just pure power but the handling even at normal speed in a wet day requires a bit of skill not to flick the back round every corner. If my supra hadn't have been off the road for 8 months, i would have never got my mk1 mr2, and never would have learned to drive a rwd car safely and confidently. Trust me, get a supra by all means but get some rwd experience before buying one. it will save you £££ and make you a better driver in the long run. Good Luck

Ok i failed to mention my engine was a tad upgraded, cams, pulleys, forged pistons etc... which allowed the vtec controller to use better response... fuel economy etc wasn't an issue but the noise was a bit annoying lol
-
thats why i had a VTEC controller
-
i have some guy i know down the pub who was always going on how fast his VW passat was. When i had my Integra Type R he still wouldn't let it go that cos his was a 2l and mine was a 1.8, he would win !!! lol Took me about 4 months to try and explain to him about VTEC systems and dohc and basically being a road legal racer and still he wouldn't listen...or understand.... Until i completly kaned him in a drag race, then after that he reckoned that his would do me on cornering etc lol.... a few demonstrations later and he was just hanging in shame and all his mates just slaughtered him lol. Some people sometimes actually believe their own lies or stories. lol

i'm toying with the idea of a new front bumper. seen a few i like but just lack of £££. I just havent got round to doing the vents black yet. just waiting for the right weather conditions thinking of maybe changing rear bumper as well, not sure what though.

Some pics of my car after a good wash. I finally got round to changing the right facelift light back to pre-facelift one. i know orange isn't everyones cup of tea but i think it comes out well.... and the attention i got driving around this morning put a huge smile on my face

Ok my headlights are acting up. the full beam and the sidlights and the fogs are all working, but the low/dipped beam isn't even coming on....i noticed this on a dodgy drive home last night, thank god for bright sides and bottom lights working lol. Anyway its just come back from whifbitz and they changed the bulbs and said everything was fine when it left the shop last fri, which i'm sure that they were. Ive checked a few fuses (kick panel and under bonnet) and all seem fine. anybody got any other ideas what could be causing this?
-
yeah looks really nice mate. few really nice cars down there at the moment. i tel you what though, took the supe for a long drive this morning and its just feels completely gutless now lol. sooner i start my project the better
