As the thread title. Have a do luck front bumper, but still need the back tray (rear most tray) as my one wasnt connected properly and now has a big nasty hole in it from dragging on the motorway floor.

My suspension has been lowered, but i'm just looking for a cheap short term alternative to stock springs, as my bumper scuffs on everything Any reason behind your wary coment ?

Hi guys, I need to raise the front of my car as its scuffing on everything. How useful are these spring assisters? and can they go on the front suspension? also, what sort of size would be the best fit? I need about 2 inch raise?

Just found this post Cheapest method is to put Grayston coil assisters in each spring - set of 4 will cost you about £38 - these raise everything an inch Are these any good, I reckon the extra inch will sort me out a treat and savemoney and hassle...are these easy to fit?

Ok, sounds like stock springs are gonna be my way forward then. Will my 18" wheels still fit the arches well though? or will it look a bit like a monster truck? How hard is it to change the springs? Anyone fancy selling some stock springs in good nick?

I've got the bilstein yellow shocks on my car, but have been told that its been lowered. Having fitted a do-luck front bumper, I cant even park on my own drive now without scuffing the bottom, and speed humps are a nightmare!!! I know some of you guys have kitted bumpers, and obviously drive around regularly, whats the best srpings to make the ride low, but obviously not too low, yet sporty....that I can just upgrade on my current shocks - if thats possible.???

sorry to bring this post up again....I found some things on ebay which convert the obd1 connection to odb2 and therefore will connect up and read into programs...although wont read as much as far as I can see. Anyone think in theory this will work?

HAd a go at this yesterday, and my god is it impossible to budge those pipes. Anyone offer any advice to remoivng it without ctting the pipes....i dont wanna do it the bull in a china shop way in case the new one doesnt fit too good, or the car doest feel as good as the standard one. Thanks

sorry, that has confused me more. The new one is vent to atmosphere, but it is on a t piece which would sit exactly how the other one would, if anyone can post a pic of the blocked off pipe where the standard one is replaced that would be great.

I have got a new bov, which sits off of a t-pipe. If i take out the original standard one, and fit the new one on using its t-pipe as a connector, is that going to work in the same way? Obviously connecting the vacuum pipe to the top connector? Thanks

I was just driving along, in moving traffic a standard drive in 5th, wheneveri put my foot down there seemed to be a light mechanical rattle from the back of the car...but out side. could this be anything to do with my LSD...if it is, please dont tell me its about to pack up

Mine was doing this...and it got much worse the more i drove it when the clutch and fly wheel were on the way out...it was the clutch slipping under all the power of the second turbo boost..then biting and kicking in properly. Wind up!
