  1. I was changing the diff fluid yesterday and I noticed I had a nail in one of the rear tyres. I took the wheel off and removed the nail. The tyre never went down but I put some soapy water on the hole and bubbles started to slowly appear I took the tyre down to a local tyre place and they repaired the puncture with a rubber plug, (I thought it would be some sort of patch on the inside of the tyre). Anyway I was wanting to know if having a nice little rubber plug in my tyre will affect it in anyway. . . Will it be dangerous at all to do silly leptons or corner hard? Cheers.
  2. I always thought the integra type R was one of the top 'drivers' FWD cars you could buy, never driven one myself unfortunatly I would like to though.
  3. Hi guy's, have any of you owned, driven or had a spirited drive with a Subaru Impreza P1? Does anyone know how tuneable they are?
  4. I also prefer the pre facelift rear light's, especially on black and silver car's. I do think they look brilliant against a gunmetal coloured soop though. Everyone has there own taste but it's looking good anyway fella and if your happy then that's all that counts
  5. Why is this homer? I keep reading that OEM disk's are better but how/why?
  6. How much for this lot? e) Cambelt: - OEM cambelt - OEM tensioner chain (timing belt tensioner) - OEM idler c/b (timing belt tensioner pulley) - OEM auxillary belt Thank's
  7. I had a play about with the settings on the RLTC and you can adjust the straight line slip if you like. It's originally set at 5% so yes if you have it set on wet it will do as you described but you can adjust it down. I set mine to a 2% straight line slip so in a straight line it will allow 2% more slip than what ever setting I have it on rather than 5%. It kept things under control better in the wet but everyone has there own preference's
  8. I think they are about £550ish new. I got my nur spec second hand and it had some scuffing to the underside of the silencer's but the exhaust was still fine, I think I paid £350 for it (about a year ago). Under £200 is very cheap.
  9. I was dropping one of my mates off and seen a black supra with the above reg and was wondering if your on here. There is a skip on the drive as well
  10. Have you tried halfrauds? I know some of the branches do a dipping service but I dont know if it will stand the heat from the bulbs. What about keeping an eye out for a second hand pair of yellowed j-spec's aswell (e-bay maybe), they will be cheap and you could facelift them (as long as the chrome rings are fine) and use your lenses. I'm sure someone on here will have a set of old j-spec's after installing facelift lights aswell.
  11. What would painting the rings silver look like? If the black is more mat black and then you have silver coloured rings it may not look that bad. I bet it would just be you that would notice the difference.
  12. I broke my locking wheel nut key not lond ago either trying to take the front wheels off so I could do my brakes, I know how you feel and it's not funny (well not at the time anyway )
  13. yep just a sec. The Silver wrighting isnt quite as complete as in the pic (the 'two way twin turbo' wrighting is slightly worn if you like), I think the light must have made it all stand out more. It is in very good condition though with no scratch marks.
  14. For just the rear's £35 I could put some pics up if you like so you can see what your getting first. lol, yeah they are small:d, I bought them to upgrade the standard paper coned front's and then about a month or two later I bought the front adaptor bracket things someone on here made for a group buy and put some 16.5cm up front instead.
  15. Hi guy's I cleaned my bedroom today (well kind of) and found a few goodies that I no longer need. Here is a small list of things I have for sale. All prices are +P&P. Spark plug cover from my 93 supra TT - £30 Front door speaker pods - £25 for the pair Pair of 4" JBL CS2104 speakers - £12 Rear Sub cover (the one in the boot) - £10 I also have a second hand set of J-spec Disk's (front and rear) that looked in good condition when I removed them to fit my 3G ones, may be of some use to anyone who has completely cabbaged disk's, say £50 for all 4 I also discovered that I had a decent set of mintex pads all round already fitted I would have left them on but I had a brand new set of CW pads to fit that I had recently purchased. I was going to keep them as a spare set but they will just sit around for ages. I measured how much pad material was left and the result was about 7-8mm on all 8. How about £70 for the lot And maybe the wrong section but what the hell I also found these if anyone is interested:- Speaker adaptor kit for Astra/Vectra 95+ (front door) if anyone needs them. Ford Fiesta mk4-5 rear lights complete with bulbs - £30 pair and also a cross trainer the magnetic resistance type, hardly used in excellent condition - £75
  16. where can I get a polished upper rad hose from? I have checked out the traders web sites and e-bay and the only things I could find were blue silicone hoses and this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/93-98-Toyota-Supra-Alum-Upper-Radiator-Hose-Pipe-Kit_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33601QQihZ016QQitemZ260180015736QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD2V#ebayphotohosting nice and cheap but not shiny I'm also after blue silicone couplings instead of black. Can anyone point me in the right direction.
  17. The kit on the supra in the last pic looks nice
  18. That new HKS SSQV (not the racing one) looks well nice, If I never already had the older design I would be tempted myself.
  19. I see where both of you are coming from but what else could you buy for £10k that looks as good as a supra, is as reliable and as powerful. Granted they are getting old but there's not that many alternatives. I do think prices will gradually go down but they seem to have suddenly dived, look in the for sale section. There is a TT for under £4K They are still worth alot more than that.
  20. Oh well, that will teach me not to jump straight in with the finger typing and read the full post first Nothing to see here . . . . . . just carry on . . . .
  21. You should have taken the first cat out instead, it has the same type of core but it's bigger (causes more of an obstruction for gas flow) and closer to the turbo's.
