  1. No probs Did you get my email ?
  2. Monkey, what's it like to live with ? Do you loose anything other than the Gear selection LED's in the TRD tach ? Cheers
  3. Tony, it really is very easy to do! I can't even change my own oil and can do it. Best to start by removing the ash tray then the glove box and work forwards. Are you happy to loose the Gear selection LED's with the 10k tach ? I do like the TRD tach though
  4. You can see here where the EGR Temp Sensor should connect - No hole! Also ringed is where the 2nd bottom EGR plate location is as the pic's on the above site are not so clear.
  5. Well, there is a difference on the UK to the US car as there is no EGR Gas Temp Sensor or the EGR Temp Sensor connector on the UK car. US car shown here: http://www.mohdparts.com/egr_mods/defeat/index.html So, there is no need for a resistor on this mod. A great saving of 10p I'll confirm that everything is as it should be once the car is back together. Engine goes in next week :flame Dev
  6. someone on here has......can't remember who though.
  7. I don't want it I hope yours is ready for the nice warm summer
  8. Yeah, I'll try. If I make it, could you give us a demo ride in yours of the induction/ssqv ? Since you are also in an auto, I have got the ssqv (not fitted yet) but, would like to refresh my ears with the induction/ssqv combo ? What do you say ? 6+ months now.....I'm hoping for Easter fingers crossed. I have not asked and they have not said but, I think Easter is a safe bet
  9. I'm gona try and make this one. I have forgotten what a soop looks/sounds like
  10. Since there are a few people with an aftermarket induction system then, would there be a market for a headlight cover like this ? I have also seen in one of the lax power type mags a soop with a flip open bonnet and boot which hinge the wrong way around. The owner worked in a bodyshop and fabricated an air hole in the existing headlight which, I thought was one stage on from the attached (Race) pic - A street version I guess you could call it so the lights inside worked as well. No, I can't make one but, thought there is a gap in the market for one of these - NO ?

  12. I remember Dude having a half height spoiler on the back of his car but, don't remember where it came from. I was in Germany last week and seen one with the half height one - was this an option in Euro-land ? Or was some Swiss spoiler legal crap or something ?
  13. I guess you have already been on here Monkey ? http://forum.aempower.com/bbs/index.php

nice car man! and thr RH Cx's
  15. Agree I seem to remember that CW mentioned that anything upto 950C is fine. Not for long periods of time mind
  16. I feel I'm going to regret saying this ..... Why would you want to put UK spec turbos on your car and it take a little longer for them to spool when you have been used to the j-spec ones ? Would you not feel that this was a step backwards ? Well, maybe not backwards but, If you fit them and you go out and have a blast you might not be happy with the different characteristics of them. I have not driven a J-spec so, can't comment on the spool up difference from personal experience so, am happy with my UK's till they blow but, given the choice and from what I read on here, I'm not sure if the UK's are the right step for you m8. Since funds for anyone at this time of year is not good, then maybe a second hand set of j-spec turbos are for you ? However, all the above could be crap and is just IMO but, hope it helps chap.
  17. Does the vvti have the resistor pack then ?
  18. Hey Ash, Sorry to hear of the loss of blades man! You must be gutted since it's your daily drive Bang after Xmas too..... Well, looks like you are all ready for the next stage :flame Dev just the dosh now
  19. Don't think they fit straight on to your VVTI Ash Nice Avatar btw
