To each their own. Not bad looking just a bit much like a glorified TT. Great V8 though but the same engine is in the Spyker which is much sexier IMO.

I received a letter yesterday from Middlehurst motorsport asking if I, as a previous skyline owner, would like to put a deposit down on the new GTR. They sent me some of the details etc of the car and it sounds like it's gonna be a bit of a beast. V6 3.8 TT in excess of 470bhp etc in the region of £55k I have since asked the missus if we could sell the house and move into a nice spacious cardboard box. She's not too keen on the idea yet but I'll tell her that I'll even get some fresh newspapers for insulation

384bhp through the front wheels is a bit daft now isn't it? My friend has just built a DC2 integra with wiseco pistons and rods, a big turbo etc and will be running a similar figure. On all but the driest straightest roads I can't see it beeing able to put that power down. once it does mind it's going to be damn nippy!

Sorry, I know we're on about Focus ST's but when I used to work at Graham Goode Racing they had a Focus RS which they spent a bit of money doing up. They made a tubular exhaust manifold, exhaust system etc, air filter and superchips bluefin. This should have been a pretty pokey car. Car and conversions magazine did an article on it and they did some 0-60 runs etc and all it managed was a 5.7 secs.

Nope, they're not that quick with the bluefin (who trusts superchips figures anyway) and even if they did manage 280bhp they have serious Torque steer issues at 220bhp.

I'm just wondering but even if you could put the T28 internals in the UK turbo housings wouldn't the standard intake pipes and exhaust manifold be a limiting factor? Surely there is only so much they can flow?
