    Please Help.

I would say get a supra with a 2jzgte already in it. I don't know how much an engine swap would cost over there but I think a swap to a non turbo supra would be a pretty big job. Does anyone know what the chassis differences are to a non turbo and a turbo, ie.brakes, suspension, driveshafts etc. i would have thought a lot of differences.
  5. For same price Supra For a bit more NSX or K20 powered exige
  6. Fitted the front bumper and started on the front wings, which seem to be the trickiest parts to fit. Im gonna need to make something for the wings to sit on so they sit higher to match the bonnet. http://img184.imageshack.us/img184/3508/photo0406qk6.jpg http://img170.imageshack.us/img170/6822/photo0405on0.jpg Had to make some headlight brackets because they usually attach to the wing but the new wing dont have the bracket. http://img183.imageshack.us/img183/5076/photo0403ug4.jpg http://img184.imageshack.us/img184/5972/photo0408th1.jpg http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/807/henrydc6.jpg
  7. Hello mate, yea we should do a photo shoot of them after would look good. It is a genuine ts kit took ages to come form japan, im a bit suprised the fitament isnt as good as i thought it would be. Definatly doing the jgtc look lol.
  8. Does anyone know if there is a bodyshop in the west sussex area that could cut my existing inner arches away. I have an angle grinder but im way to scared to try this.
  9. Fitted the side skirts now, it took me ages to make sure they are both lined up the same lol http://img142.imageshack.us/img142/5267/photo0395tk4.jpg Im gonna end up using loads of those self tappers http://img152.imageshack.us/img152/2812/photo0400dh3.jpg I made some small brackets to hold the bottom part of the rear wings in place but now there are some gaps on the rear bumper (see pic) im not sure what to do to it i guess il have to fiberglass on to the rear bumper to extend the panel. any ideas? http://img444.imageshack.us/img444/7536/photo0398fq8.jpg http://img456.imageshack.us/img456/6422/photo0401je6.jpg

  11. lol yea come to think of it, its a hangar at my dads company thats not in use at the moment so i quickly put all my junk in there till they need it again. Its amazing having so much space to work
  12. Update ive fitted the rear bumper and started on the rear wings, the fitament is pretty bad if your not gonna filler it in, which im not so i have a small gap where the panels should fit flush but oh well. Heres some pics. http://img66.imageshack.us/img66/3074/photo0394my0.jpg http://img113.imageshack.us/img113/8572/photo0392ut7.jpg
  13. Not sure on paint scheme yet im prob gonna keep it supra red for now, maybe a JGTC replica im still thinking. I wanted to fit it so I can say I built the car myself, I have done all the other work so far, this kit just seems harder than i thought. I have fitted a kit before and it came out really good, but not a wide one. anyway this is where i am so far, not very far http://img45.imageshack.us/img45/978/photo0389oo5.jpg I had to remove the tow eyes at the front to fit the bumper on so I think im gonna get a aftermarket tow ring http://img111.imageshack.us/img111/31/tow500om9.jpg
  14. no the its the gt300 kit
  15. Just picked up my top secret kit and im planning to fit it myself but now im starting to think maybe i should get it fitted professionally. Well its worth a try. any advice would be greatly appreciated. http://img267.imageshack.us/img267/3383/photo0385sh1.jpg http://img267.imageshack.us/img267/9079/photo0384vv9.jpg

    Pic request

I was just looking at some pics of the supra race cars from JGTC now known as Super GT and i noticed the older cars have a wide body that closely resembles the top secret wide kit does anybody out there have anymore pics they could post up. This is what i have found. http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/1518/036m971oy8.jpg http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/262/1996sugo002cf0.jpg http://img512.imageshack.us/img512/674/1996hiland008ru4.jpg
  20. wow thats nice, im up for chipping in a bit to make it a club car lol. I would say thats the air intake on the top the GT cars have the same thing.
  21. and replacing the radiator for an aftermarket alloy one would that make a difference?
  22. also would replacing the fuel tank with a smaller alloy one save enough weight to make it worthwhile, where would be a good place to locate it, in the standard space or up in the wheel well.
  23. I don't think there is much of a weight saving in suspension, id have to take mine of and weigh them versus the original. They are definately lighter in you hand compared to stock. Chris i might also be interested in one of those batterys could you pm me a price, do you think its better to relocate behind the passenger seat or in the spare wheel well. If removing the door bars, would it not be advisable to have a roll cage installed? I was also thinking the same with the front and rear bumper crash bars, or has anyone done this without. Im changing my wing mirrors for the small GT style ones, that should save a bit more.
