  1. yes Col, was pretty straight forward really. 20 quid, any RAL colour (as long as he has it in stock) Dont mind doing it for others
  2. halfrauds do a kit for 20 odd quid, consists of some wetndry, a clear gel/filler compound, and some silver/alloy coloured spray, same principle as above. Although not much help for polished/machined alloys.
  3. interesting comment, ive always wondered about this % discount for memebership, how can one prove that a discount has been applied IF you have already mentioned your a paid up member.
  4. Finally got my arse into gear and sorted out the custom decals and applied some gloss laquer to my powdercoated calipers. Any good???
  5. certainly agreed value is what sent me your way in the first place. tell me something though, how do insurance companys reach a value to payout on a write off..

  10. if i knew then what i know now about jap cars, i wouldnt of bothered wasting money on supercharging an IS200, then moving onto a nitrous powered IS300. i would have gone straight to the supra, actually thinking about it i paid 15k cash for the first one then another 5-7k modding, then px'd for a 19k IS300 put most of the mods onto that and eventually sold up for 10k (after selling off the mods of course). wow, what i could have acheived with 40k on a supra...
  11. That would be Mat's he runs the UK lexus owners club, the car is commonly know as The Monster and it now spends its time Drifting in various events. 12. Now THIS is an Altezza.. you wont find ANY IS200/tezza like this, friend of mine just sold it for 13k This car has had no expense (£20k plus spent) spared throughout its conversion with all top quality parts. It must be the first 3S-GE in the UK to hit 300 bhp with stock internals, it runs like new! The car is pristine condition, its showroom finish, looks new both inside and out. 13. ahh ic, but even so, aint hard to strip down, my first time was stripping my own new uk calipers, http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=116424 also would have thought new piston seals would be cheap enough. i have since restripped (using wires brush on a drill) and done them in red. waiting for soem custom decals then will seal the lot.
  14. have i missed something, 500 quid for power coating and resealing. i paid 20 quid for poweder coating, what do you mean BTW 'resealing' the paint of new piston seals etc.
  15. are these 18's any good to you fro px
  16. thats what im thinking will happen, Bisping is gettting to lost in his on hype, much liek that Mark Weir bloke who had his debut at UFC in the Albert Hall some years back (managed to get tickets for that) where he got the fasted ufc knockout of 10 seconds, since then he has been living off that hype and not done too well in the cage rage series. I went to the 2nd cage rage event in some town hall that was gona be closed down, they deffo got bigger and better, but IMO they lost it when they moved the wembley conference centre and then it just got so impersonal, before you were right close to the action but now, if you dont spend the money for ringside, your sitting waaaaaay back and watching it on the screen,,, may as well stay at home..
  17. would it be an idea to put the prices on the parts, rather than have PM;s flying about.. ta
  18. :( Why is it that you cant simple download a torrent nowdays without finding out that its password protected or wants you to go get some player that is full of malware or it friging spanish with french subs... piss's me offfff.

  21. Hi All, Whilst the car is off the road at the mo, thought i would polish mroe stuff up and take my time putting it all together., Ive got a pair of knackared jpsec turbos and will be polishing one of them up. So my question is, when i strip the working turbo to put the shiny housing on, should i be renweing anything whilst its apart.
  22. also you can up the insurance cover on recoreded items, of course this increases the cost for the postage.
