  1. [video=youtube;U4-Z-5urwwE]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4-Z-5urwwE should this be moving when i rev it?
  2. Running ttc should the exhaust valve be open all the time? Looking at this now its not moving at all not even when I rev it, it was rattling quite loud a few weeks ago if this has failed that would explain why turbo 2 isn't working and I'm not getting the ttc sound is that right? Also I read these can be bought but part of it is fixed to the turbo and if it needs changing the turbo does as well?
  3. Bit baffled with this now I've checked a few sites and the vac lines are connected right but still it runs the same, when ryan mapped it he put it to ttc as one of the vsv were faulty and the 2nd turbo wasn't spooling, its been running fine with both turbos working best part of 2 year now its went back to sequential, the sound has went back to how it was and the turbos spooling early again as if it was back to running sequential, I don't know how tho with the vac lines connected the way they are
  4. What are these 2 hoses ? One is capped and the other just hanging
  5. Here's how I've got the hoses connected top vsv Bottom vsv the hose I'm holding goes straight to the exhaust actuator the thicker hose goes up and connects to the vac hard pipe
  6. Just checked that article it looks a bit of a faf on wiring the actuators open and it says not to run like this for more than a few days, is this the way most people do it? Strange how its just went back all of a sudden with the hoses still disconnected,
  7. Was done when I had car mapped from what I seen some hoses were disconnected in the bay then emanage blue fitted to make the most of it, I'm going to have a look today and follow the article on mkiv.com
  8. ive had my bpu tt set up and mapped to run turbos and parallel for a few year now but just been out and its running in sequential again? how could it start running like this again when i haven't re connected the hoses to run in sequential, ill check it out in the day to see if there's anything like hoses popped off but not sure how it could go back like that without re connecting the vac hoses up
  9. Ill get there for 10 as well, should give me a bit time to give my car the once over with a bit detailer first haha
  10. Just looking at this now it is the rod rattling on the nownpipe, what's the best way to sort this? Looking at some posts some wrap it to dampen the sound but that isn't advised and it can't be changed unless the turbo is changed because its attached is that right?
  11. i might pop along 1.FOSTA 2.Ahamilton 3.safcdixon (providing my car passes mot tommorow) 4.p3te
  12. so is it an actuator on the downpipe? accessed from under the car? reading that thread they cant be easily replaced?
  13. Could well be, is this the little actuator in the top turbo pipe? I've noticed sometimes this sticks open
  14. im hoping its just that too, was too dark to see at the time, i just fitted the heat shield the other week one of the bolts might have come loose
  15. the last few times ive drove my car Ive noticed a loud rattle coming from the turbo area, sometimes it does it but most the time it dosent, still boost fine and has no smoke, ill not get the chance to check it out till at least next weekend now, in the meantime what do yous think it could be? possible just loose bolt rattling somewhere? what sound do the turbos make when they fail? heres a quick vid, you cant see anything as i just pulled over when i heard it for a quick listen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zdQpfKoLiu0&feature=youtu.be
  16. Can anyone confirm its the 12261-46031 LH PCV HOSE and not the RH HOSE?
  17. searching that part number on google brings up 12261-46031 LH PCV HOSE that sound right? and i suppose the 12262-46020 RH PVC HOSE LIST is the L shaped hose that goes from cam cover to turbo pipe on the opposite side
  18. he does anyone know the part number for this breather hose?all i can find is the numbers for the 2 hoses above the coil packs
  19. Is the little plastic filter the right way around in this hose or does that not matter? Its just below the tps
  20. There's a sensor with a vac for the emanage yes but that's tucked in the footwell its never been touched
  21. How would I do that lol ryan g fitted and mapped so I have no idea how to log and things, its a. Emanage blue btw, the tps I should be adjusting is that the one near the ps tank or the one on the other side or both?
  22. Is it bad to adjust the throttle cable a bit to up the revs a touch?
