  2. it'll only be someone letting them know they are around you, just say out loud your not amused and too stop it. Happens in my house all the time especially in my sons room i invited a physic to my house with a random selection of mates booked her in my sisters name from a friends phone and only gave her addy 1hr before she came round (so wouldnt have time to look us up) she walked straight in and said to my son you've seen your cousin havent you, my nephew was killed on his motobike 8 months previously. he's still here playing silly buggers. she told us lots of other stuff too but thats not relevant. so whoever it is wont be around to hurt you just acknowledge them. 9. A bit of useful advice (from the Association of Industrial Road Safety Officers) It's been said that this number works in the UK - thought you should know this..... The number does work from a mobile. This Actually Happened to someone's daughter. Lauren was 19 yrs old and in college. This story takes place over the Christmas/New Year's holiday break. It was the Saturday before New Year and it was about 1.00pm in the afternoon, and Lauren was driving to visit a friend, when an UNMARKED police car pulled up behind her and put its lights on. Lauren's parents have 4 children (of various ages) and have always told them never to pull over for an unmarked car on the side of the road, but rather wait until they get to a service station, etc. So Lauren remembered her parents' advice, and telephoned 112 from her mobile phone. This connected her to the police dispatcher. She told the dispatcher that there was an unmarked police car with a flashing BLUE light on his rooftop behind her and that she would not pull over right away but wait until she was in a service station or busy area. The dispatcher checked to see if there was a police car where she was and there wasn't and he told her to keep driving, remain calm and that he had back-up already on the way. Ten minutes later 4 police cars surrounded her and the unmarked car behind her. One policeman went to her side and the others surrounded the car behind. They pulled the guy from the car and tackled him to the ground.........the man was a convicted rapist and wanted for other crimes. I never knew that bit of advice, but especially for a woman alone in a car, you do not have to pull over for an UNMARKED car. Apparently police have to respect your right to keep going to a "safe" place. You obviously need to make some signals that you acknowledge them i.e., put on your hazard lights or call 112 like Lauren did. Too bad the mobile phone companies don't give you this little bit of wonderful information. let your friends know about 112. Please pass on to all your friends, especially any females

  20. hey guys thanks for comments so annoying when only just around the corner from where he was pulled all the chavs are racing up and down the seafront nobody does a thing. exhaust fitted prior to mot, garage said today suspension fine all legal clearances etc, tyre done receipt obtained class one pm sent thanks funny thing is we have a neighbour few doors down who local policeman, who actually admired the exhaust on it and knows cars are always kept in good condition hes a ex army mechanic has even helped the boys fit bits and pieces to their cars etc its a funny old world eh
  21. hey guys and gals, my son was out in my clio (spare runaround) he is fully insured to drive it, anyway he got pulled after being followed for a good 4-5 miles, he knew they were there so wasnt doing anything foolish. They asked if he owned it - No mums car they checked it all over said they think car has illegal exhaust, tyres etc they call 2 colleagues to come from 15 miles away to come look it over meanwhile they start bouncing the car checking suspension which does have a slight squeak, the car has reently been mot,d the upshot is they say exhaust is illegal admited it is an adapted new motobike exhaust that was garage fitted passed emissions etc etc one tyre just below limit and they say suspension needs doing!! as wheels very close as it lowered as they had cautioned him they said they couldnt take car to be crushed !!!!! he would get letter to go to court. So what do you think will happen will it be him go to court or me as it my car and what you reckon the charge will actually be no producer given or anything. thanks guys
